Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive in Delhi and meet your trip leader and group at 6 pm. If you get there earlier, there's an optional urban adventure to explore the city on your own. After the welcome meeting, you can join everyone for an optional dinner to try some local cuisine and start getting to know your fellow travelers.

- Day 2
Old Delhi
Start the day walking through Old Delhi's busy streets with your local leader, weaving past vendors and through crowded lanes. You'll hop on a cycle rickshaw for a ride through the neighborhood, getting a feel for how people move around this area. Next, head to the Jama Masjid mosque to see the architecture and learn about Islam's role in Delhi's history. After that, walk over to the Sheeshganj Gurudwara Sikh Temple, where you'll get insight into Sikhism and the community there. By late afternoon, find a spot to sit down and have some chai while you relax and take in what you've seen. In the evening, make your way to the train station to board your overnight train heading to Khajuraho.

Landmarks Jama Masjid Sheeshganj Gurudwara - Day 3
Khajuraho to Panna National Park
You'll arrive at Khajuraho Station and drive out to Panna National Park. With a local naturalist, you'll walk through the park spotting waterfalls, forests and open plains. Keep your eyes peeled for tigers, spotted deer, leopards, sloth bears and over 200 bird species. There's an optional second safari in the morning if you want to improve your chances of seeing wildlife.

Landmarks Panna National Park - Day 4
Panna National Park to Bandhavgarh National Park
If you booked the early safari, you'll head out to explore more of Panna before traveling to Bandhavgarh National Park and Tiger Reserve. This area has the highest concentration of royal Bengal tigers in India. You'll settle into your forest resort by evening with time to relax and soak in the sounds of the wilderness.

- Day 5
Bandhavgarh National Park
Join a morning safari through Bandhavgarh with a naturalist guide hunting for royal Bengal tigers, white tigers, leopards, wild boars, gaurs, langurs, eagles and deer. The landscape shifts between tropical forest, swamps, cliffs and grasslands. You can optionally book an afternoon safari too if you want more wildlife viewing chances.

- Day 6
Bandhavgarh to Jabalpur
After breakfast, you'll leave Bandhavgarh and drive to Jabalpur, a city in Madhya Pradesh along the holy Narmada River. Your leader will take you on a walking tour to get oriented. You'll have a free afternoon to wander around, then head to Gauri Ghat at dusk to see the Aarti ceremony, a spiritual ritual performed on the riverbanks.

Jabalpur to Satpura National Park
Drive through central Indian landscapes heading toward the Satpura Mountain Range. Once you arrive, you'll settle in and head out on a night safari with a naturalist to explore the forested ranges. Watch for nocturnal animals like leopards, flying squirrels and flying foxes active after dark.

Satpura National Park
After breakfast, you can optionally join a morning safari to see Satpura in daylight, finding waterfalls, canyons and natural pools. The park has many sloth bears, giant squirrels, deer, monkeys and hundreds of birds. You'll have group lunch and free time to rest later. In the evening, take a boat safari to spot jungle cats, fruit bats and flying foxes as darkness falls.

Satpura National Park to Agra
This is a long travel day. You'll drive to Bhopal, then board a train to Agra. Grab lunch in Bhopal before the train ride and bring books, music or games for entertainment. Once you reach Agra, you're free to explore the city and find your own dinner, though your leader has restaurant suggestions.


- Day 10
Agra
Start with breakfast, then head to Keoladeo National Park, a famous bird sanctuary. A naturalist will guide you by rickshaw through the park where you can spot 260 bird species plus deer, nilgai antelope and wild boar. Later, return to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal at sunset, a UNESCO site and one of the world's wonders. Learn its history and photograph the marble as light changes. Join the group for dinner if you'd like.

Agra to Delhi
Explore Agra Fort, a complex structure that's been fortress, palace and prison. You'll walk through throne rooms and ornate mosques. For lunch, eat at Sheroes Hangout, a social enterprise supporting women acid attack survivors. In early evening, board a train to Delhi. When you arrive, settle into your hotel and maybe spend time with fellow travelers over drinks.

Delhi
Your trip ends today after breakfast with no further activities planned. If you want to stay longer in Delhi, contact your booking agent before you leave to arrange an extension.
