Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham

You'll start in Phnom Penh by sorting through your gear and checking over the bike before hitting the city streets. The ride quickly shifts from urban traffic to open countryside as you follow the Mekong River banks, passing through small villages along the way. Stop at Wat Nokor, where you can see how Angkorian architecture blends with newer additions to the temple. By evening you'll roll into Kampong Cham just as the sun's going down. Check out the local market after that, grab some Cambodian street food, and settle in for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Kampong Cham to Kratie

This morning starts with dirt tracks cutting through rubber plantations and thick forest north of Kampong Cham. Wat Hanchey sits on a hill with views across the Mekong that are worth the climb. Continuing north, you'll reach Kratie, a quiet town right on the water. Later in the afternoon, take a boat out to Kampi to look for the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins in the river. Wind down the day with dinner by the water and talking through everything you've seen so far.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (Riverside dinner)

    Included Activities

    • Off-road riding through rubber plantations and forests
    • Visit Wat Hanchey temple

  3. Day 3

    Kratie to Sen Monorom

Heading east into Mondulkiri means riding through hilly terrain with thick jungle closing in around you. The off-road sections get rougher here, but you'll get breaks where the trees open up and you can see across the highlands. Sen Monorom, the main town, is where you're headed for the night. Before that, get out to Bou Sra Waterfall to see the three tiers dropping down through the forest. Spend some time in the evening with the local Bunong people and learn how they live and what their traditions are about.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

    • Rugged off-road riding through Mondulkiri highlands and dense jungles

  4. Day 4

    Sen Monorom

Today's all about what makes Mondulkiri special. Head to an elephant sanctuary to learn about how they're protecting these animals and what conservation work looks like on the ground. Ride off-road trails in the afternoon that take you to hidden waterfalls and overlooks most tourists never find. The whole region feels untouched and green. After getting back to Sen Monorom as evening comes on, you'll have dinner made with local ingredients and time to think back on everything you've done.

  5. Day 5

    Sen Monorom to Siem Reap

This is a long, tough day riding west through remote terrain with tough sections balanced by great scenery. Sambor Prei Kuk, an older temple complex from before Angkor, sits hidden in the forest with moss and vines covering the ruins. From there, push on to Kampong Thom to get a feel for how people live in regular towns, then head the final stretch toward Siem Reap on a mix of dirt and paved roads. Once you arrive, walk through Angkor Wat and see the carved details and tall temple structures. Later, hit up the nightlife in Siem Reap with live performances and celebrations before heading to your hotel.
