Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Ban Gioc Waterfall
Your limousine picks you up between 6:20 and 6:40 AM from your Hanoi hotel for the drive northeast. The route follows the Hanoi-Lang Son highway, cutting through rural countryside where you'll see limestone mountains and small villages scattered across the landscape. You'll stop at a couple viewpoints along the way, then pull into a local village to watch sugarcane farming and daily life unfold. By around 12:45 PM you're in Quang Hoa town for lunch. After eating, continue toward Ban Gioc Waterfall and check into your homestay in Khuoi Ky stone house village. The afternoon brings a sampan ride right up close to the waterfall itself, letting you feel the spray and take photos from the water. Back at the homestay you'll have dinner and wind down with a water party before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Ban Gioc to Cao Bang
Start your day with breakfast at 7:30 AM, then check out and head to Nguom Ngao Cave by 8:30 AM. You'll spend about 90 minutes walking through stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave system. After that, a motorbike taxi takes you to Ban Gioc Pagoda where you'll climb 300 steps up to views of the waterfall and across the border into China. From there, ride about 45 km by motorbike to Co Chay Valley and Peak to see the limestone formations and old villages in that area. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then visit Mountain Angle Eye afterward to take in the valleys and grassfields from above. Later in the afternoon head back to Cao Bang city and settle into your hotel. In the evening, walk over to the night market to see what's happening around town and check out the local nightlife.

- Day 3
Cao Bang to Hanoi
Have breakfast between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, pack up your things, and load your luggage onto motorbikes for the return journey. Around 9 AM you leave Cao Bang city and head to Phia Thap, a village where incense production is the main work. You'll see how locals make incense and visit a family's home to learn more about their daily life and culture. After that, ride to Quang Hoa town for lunch. From there, switch to a luxury limousine for the drive back to Hanoi, arriving around 7:00 PM to end your trip.
