- Day 1
New Delhi
You'll land at New Delhi airport where a driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel. Check-in starts at 2 pm, though you can arrange early check-in ahead of time if you need it. The rest of the day is free to rest and get oriented after your flight.

New Delhi
After breakfast, a guided tour takes you through Old and New Delhi. You'll start at Jama Masjid Mosque to see its impressive dome and minarets, then ride a rickshaw through the narrow streets of Old Delhi before passing the Red Fort. Moving to New Delhi, you'll see India Gate (built in 1931), then visit Humayun's tomb with its beautiful Mughal architecture and symmetrical gardens. Next comes Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Sikh temple with its golden dome. You'll return to the hotel for dinner.

New Delhi to Mandawa
Starting early at sunrise, you'll explore Delhi's oldest monuments and sites tied to the Mahabharata, including a visit to India's oldest wrestling school to see this ancient practice. After breakfast back at the hotel, you'll drive to Mandawa in Rajasthan's Shekhawati region. This town functions as an open-air gallery with havelis featuring elaborate murals, all historic mansions built by wealthy merchants that show off the town's cultural heritage.

Mandawa to Bikaner
After breakfast, you'll travel to Bikaner and tour Junagarh Fort, constructed in 1588 by Raja Rai Singh. The fort's jagged sandstone bastions and elegant pavilions sit on desert plains rather than a hilltop, making it quite unique. That evening, you'll head off-road into the Thar Desert's golden sand dunes to reach Raisar Camp for a BBQ dinner with grilled specialties and a local folk dance performance. You'll watch the sunset before heading back to your hotel.

Jaisalmer
A guided tour shows you Jaisalmer Fort, built on an 80-meter high hill where about a quarter of the population still lives inside its walls. You'll find beautifully carved Jain temples dating from the 12th to 15th centuries within the fort. The tour also covers impressive merchant houses like the five-storey Patwon ki Haveli from 1805 with carved pillars and murals, plus Salim Singh ki Haveli. In the afternoon, you'll take a trip to Sam Sand Dunes before returning to the hotel.

Inside the fort, explore the museum with its collection of royal relics, weapons and paintings. After touring the fort's majestic architecture and fortified walls, the rest of the day is free for your own exploration.

Jodhpur to Udaipur
An early morning departure heads toward Udaipur. On the way, you'll stop at the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple, known for intricate engravings and sculptures on its walls and ceilings, plus 1444 individually designed pillars. You'll arrive in Udaipur, considered India's most romantic city and called the 'Venice of the East' or 'Lake City'. The rest of the day is at leisure to walk around the palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow alleyways with shops.

Udaipur
You'll explore Udaipur by bicycle, going beyond the famous lakes and palaces to discover the city's heart of performing arts, handicrafts and miniature paintings. You'll see how local craftsmen and artists work with real dedication. A boat trip on Lake Pichola (depending on water levels) and a visit to City Palace built in 1725 come next, where you'll wander through courtyards, gardens and ornately designed interiors. You'll also see Jagdish Temple and walk through the lively old market in late afternoon. Then comes the special part: joining a local family for a cooking lesson where you'll shop for ingredients, cook together, and eat dinner with your hosts.

Udaipur to Deogarh
After breakfast, you'll head to Deogarh, a quiet town known for its impressive palace and traditional craftsmanship. From there, a 90-minute local train ride takes you through bush jungle, valleys and gorges of the Aravalli mountain range, sitting on wooden benches with locals for an authentic experience. A highlight is stopping at Goram Ghat Station where you can feed the monkeys that come to the train looking for bananas and snacks.

Deogarh to Jaipur
Early morning departure takes you to Jaipur, the 'Pink City' and one of India's most visited destinations and shopping spots. Buildings in the old town were painted pink in 1876 for the Prince of Wales' visit, giving the city its nickname. You'll walk through the old town sampling street food like pakoras, aloo tiki, samosa and regional sweets. You'll also watch local jewelers, silversmiths, and gold and silver foil makers working in their workshops.

Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll head to Amber Fort near Jaipur to see ornately designed rooms, gates and courtyards with elegant mirror work and murals. A jeep ride goes around the fort before you visit City Palace, a complex of palaces, gardens and courtyards with decorative art and carved doors. The palace museum holds rare manuscripts, weapons, costumes, carpets and miniature paintings. You'll see the historic Jantar Mantar observatory from the early 18th century with 19 stone and marble instruments, stop for photos at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and end with a rickshaw tour through Jaipur's bazaars in eco-friendly 'pink rickshaws' operated by over 200 women from low-income households.

Jaipur to Agra
You'll travel to Agra to visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned red sandstone city built by Mughal emperor Akbar in the late 16th century as a capital and palace. It was abandoned soon after construction when local wells dried up, and the complex remains in nearly the same condition as it was over 300 years ago. You'll walk around the complete complex of palaces and mosques in almost perfect condition before continuing to Agra for the evening.

- Day 14
Agra to New Delhi
In the morning, you'll visit the Taj Mahal, India's most famous landmark. Built in the mid-17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as an expression of love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it took 22 years and 20,000 workers to complete. You'll see its perfectly symmetrical design, ornate marble decorations, geometric gardens and mirror-like pond. Afterwards, you'll transfer to an airport hotel in Delhi for a room to shower and change, then head to the airport after dinner for your flight home.
