Asked on August 9th, 2025If I book this tour, will it be acceptable to apply for a French visa? Do I need to purchase travel insurance separately, or will the insurance provided by your company be sufficient for the visa application? What is the difference between the Standard and Plus tour packages? Is the tour fully refundable?
ContikiOperator•Written August 2025Australian citizens do not require a visa to enter France for short stays. Starting in 2026, you will need to apply for an ETIAS. Travel insurance is mandatory and must be purchased separately. Standard Tour stays in multi-share hostels with up to 5 other travelers. Plus Tour provides upgraded 3-star hotels with twin-sharing. The tour is not fully refundable as deposit is non-refundable and cancellation penalties vary based on days before tour departure.
