- Day 1
Antalya
You'll arrive in Antalya and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. This afternoon, there's a short tour of the city where you'll see Hadrian's Gate, walk through the Ottoman district, and check out a waterfall that drops straight into the sea. Dinner's taken care of for you this evening.

- Day 2
Antalya - Aspendos - Side - Karaman - Nigde
Leaving Antalya behind, you'll head to Aspendos to see the remarkably well-preserved Roman theater. From there, continue to Side and visit the Temple of Apollo right on the water, then wander through the port and old streets. The drive takes you through the Taurus Mountains where peaks reach over 3,500 meters and stay snow-covered most of the year. You'll pass by Karaman's fortress (viewing from outside) before arriving in Cappadocia region by evening with dinner included.

- Day 3
Nigde - Cappadocia
Today's all about Cappadocia's unusual lunar landscapes and underground history. Start at the 7th-century underground monastery at Gumusler to see the Byzantine frescoes, then go through Kaymacli underground city which once held up to 30,000 people. Head up to Uchisar natural fortress for views of the region. After lunch, spend time in Goereme Valley open-air museum with its rock-cut churches. You'll stay in Avanos with dinner included.

Cappadocia - Safranbolu
Travel north through central Anatolia as the landscape shifts to greener terrain. You'll reach Safranbolu by early afternoon, a charming UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as a key stop on ancient caravan routes. Spend time having traditional Turkish tea in the courtyard of a preserved caravanserai. Dinner is included tonight.

Safranbolu - Gökgöl Magrasi - Eregli - Istanbul
Head along the Black Sea coast through lush green countryside. There's a stop at Gokgol Magrasi cave where you'll see an underground river and vibrant rock colors (admission's covered). Later in the coastal town of Eregli, you'll have time for lunch and can visit the impressive Cehennemagzi caves and tombs. By end of day, you'll arrive in Istanbul.

- Day 6
Istanbul
This morning starts with a sightseeing tour going into the Suleymaniye Mosque, Istanbul's largest, plus you'll see the ancient walls, the Golden Horn, and the busy fishing district with views of Hagia Sophia from outside. Then head to Topkapi Palace (tickets included) where you can walk through the courtyards and pavilions that once formed the Ottoman Empire's administrative center. The afternoon gives you free time to explore on your own before heading to Taksim for dinner at a local restaurant and to see the charming old tram. If you prefer, there's also Galata Tower nearby.

Istanbul

This waterway connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and splits Istanbul between Europe and Asia. You'll see the strait's activity, pass under both bridges linking the two continents, and take in Sultan's palaces, traditional wooden houses, and Ottoman architecture. Back in central Istanbul afterward, you'll have free time to spend as you like.
