Itinerary
- Day 1
Antalya
You'll arrive in Antalya and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. After checking in, the afternoon is yours to take a short tour of the city. You'll see Hadrian's Gate, walk through the Ottoman district, and catch sight of the waterfall that flows right into the sea. It's a nice introduction to this coastal city with over a million people.

Antalya to Cappadocia
Leaving Antalya behind, you'll head toward Aspendos to check out the Roman theater there. From there, it's on to Side where you can see the Temple of Apollo sitting by the water and wander around the busy port area. Then comes the drive through the Taurus Mountains with peaks reaching over 3,500 meters. You'll stop in Karaman to look at its fortress before continuing into the Cappadocia region.

Cappadocia
This full day is dedicated to exploring Cappadocia's unusual landscape and history. You'll visit the 7th-century Gumusler Monastery underground, which has Byzantine frescoes still visible on the walls. Next you'll go through the underground city of Kaymacli, which once held around 30,000 people. Then climb up to Uchisar for views across the valleys. Later, you'll walk through Goreme Valley's open-air museum with its rock-cut churches carved right into the stone.

Cappadocia to Konya
In the morning, you'll check out Ihlara Valley at Cappadocia's edge, known for its cool running water and rock-cut churches built into the cliffs. After that, you're heading to Konya. There you'll see a 13th-century caravanserai and visit the Mevlana Mausoleum to learn about the Dervish order and its history.

Konya to Pamukkale
Today follows a scenic route between lakes, bringing you to Egridir, a nice town sitting on a large lake with historic walls and mosques worth seeing. You'll have time here for lunch before heading on to Hierapolis-Pamukkale. There you'll see the Cotton Palace, formed by mineral-rich waters cascading down the hillside.

Pamukkale to Kusadasi
You're traveling to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Asia Minor. Two thousand years ago it had around 250,000 people living there. You'll see the House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and walk through the ancient city ruins. Later, you'll head to Kusadasi, a busy coastal town full of shops and home to a small castle by the water.

Kusadasi to Marmaris
Starting early, you'll head to Lake Bafa to take in its calm waters. Then it's on to Bodrum, a fortified city with Greek roots. There you can walk through the castle, stroll the lively streets, or check out the marina. After grabbing lunch, you'll continue to Marmaris, a coastal town with a castle, pier, and fountains to explore.

Marmaris to Antalya
You're heading to Dalyan, a riverside spot where a boat trip takes you out to see the Lycian Rock Tombs carved into the cliffs. By boat you'll then go to a large lake and stop at thermal springs. You can choose to soak in the warm water or try a mud bath if you'd like. Later you'll head back to Antalya for a short tour including Hadrian's Gate, the Ottoman quarter, and that waterfall dropping into the sea.
