Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll get transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to settle in. Check the information boards at the reception desk to find out when your tour officially starts.
- Day 2
Rome
Start with a three-hour guided tour that mixes walking around Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo before reaching Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. After that, you get transferred to Trastevere for the afternoon where you can wander around, check out the restaurants, and soak in the neighborhood. Head back to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.

Rome
You have the full day to explore Rome however you like. If you want something organized, there are optional excursions to Capri island (April-October) or to Naples and Pompeii (November-March).

Rome to Siena
Travel through Umbria starting with Orvieto, a medieval city perched on a flat hilltop. Take the escalators up to the medieval center and see the Gothic cathedral. Then head to Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno for a walk and lunch. Later, continue to Siena in Tuscany and spend the afternoon checking out the famous Piazza del Campo and the Duomo.

Monteriggione - San Gimignano - Florence
You'll head out from Siena and make a stop in Monteriggione, a medieval village where you can walk through cobbled streets and check out the old walls surrounding the town. From there, continue to San Gimignano, known for its tall medieval towers that define the skyline. After grabbing lunch, you'll travel to Florence and arrive in the early afternoon, giving you time to settle in and start exploring the city.

Florence
Begin at the Michelangelo viewpoint for great city views, then walk into the historic center for a guided tour. You'll see the Gothic Cathedral (Duomo di Firenze), the ancient Ponte Vecchio bridge with its goldsmith shops, and Piazza della Signoria, the political heart with its medieval town hall. After the tour, you'll have free time to do your own thing.

Leave Florence heading to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and its surrounding monuments. Continue along the scenic Italian Riviera to Sestri Levante, a charming coastal resort town where you can grab lunch and take a stroll. Later, head towards the French Riviera and reach Monte Carlo mid-afternoon to visit the historic casino. Arrive in Nice around 8:00 p.m.

Nice to Marseille

Then head to Catalonia and arrive in Barcelona in the evening.

You'll have free time in the afternoon to explore on your own. In the evening, transfer to Maremagnum, a contemporary entertainment and dining complex by the sea near Plaza de Colón, for a stroll and dinner.

Around 4:30 p.m., head to Madrid with a brief stop at the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. Arrive in Madrid between 8:30-9:00 p.m., and transfer to Plaza Mayor for dining and exploring.

Madrid

The rest of the afternoon is yours to do what you like, and you'll get a transfer back to your hotel in the evening.
