  My review This tour has been by far the worst tour I've ever been on in every aspect. The hotels aircons generally didn't work even though it's summer so we had to open the windows and have bugs in the room or sweat all night. The tour managers treated us like children and wasted so much of our limited time in cities by being disorganized. They wouldn't tell us where the meeting point was so we had to unnecessarily follow them to the spot which wasted our limited time in cities. I believe the tour managers either need to be retrained or need a new job as they were incredibly impatient, rude and abrupt. I understand their job would be frustrating but it's their job to make the trip run smoothly and quite often they hindered it by withholding information or being rude. Our stops were so short that we had to choose between eating or seeing the city, we weren't even allowed to eat on the bus which would have helped the situation. All the days are at least 12 hours long so we often got to cities too late to have a decent meal. I know there's nothing that can be done about this but the people on the tour were awful. Most of them are from a country where being rude and inconsiderate is part of their culture. The drivers often wouldn't open the bus doors until the lines were huge and there was pushing, shoving and yelling. I pride myself in being able to find positives in every situation but I'm struggling with this tour. My best friend lives on the other side of the world so we only get to see each other a few times a year and spend a lot of effort, time and money on these trips and europamundo has ruined our short time together. I was halfway through this tour and hated it that much that I was looking at flights to anywhere else. If I had enough money I would have left. I have been counting down the days until this tour is over. Don't book with this company unless you're old, useless and don't actually want to enjoy Europe. I couldn't be happier that this tour is over. My friends review This is everything I wish I would have known about Europamundo before I booked. I have many thoughts about my recent tour and unfortunately they are mostly negative. Let’s begin with the positives. Some of the tour guides were helpful. In particular, I enjoyed Diego (who was not even our assigned guide) and Rabi. They were both always willing to provide wonderful recommendations, answer our questions, and be flexible with our schedule. The remainder of the guides were often rude and dismissive of concerns. Unfortunately I do not have any more positives. Firstly, the tour itself was disorganized and rushed. We often times would stop in amazing little towns but only for an hour or two. This meant that you had to decide between having lunch or being able to explore the town, as there was often not enough time to do both. There was also almost never any free time. Everything was scheduled for you and I would much prefer to explore cities on my own. The tour guides would often make my wanting to tour in my own a problem and would not tell me the meeting location to do so. Also, all of the different tour leaders and bus drivers all had their own rules. This made following and remembering the rules difficult to remember for many. The rules/expectations should be uniform in order to avoid confusion. Lastly, if people are late, the rest of the tour should not have to wait 30+minutes for them. We should leave them behind and they should have to figure out how to get to the next stop. After all, we are all adults and actions have consequences— even on holiday. Europamundo tours should be clearly marketed as modular tours. It should not be a surprise to passengers that they are getting handed off every few days to a new tour leader, driver, and group. It makes an already hectic itinerary even more hectic. Additionally, if it were clearly marketed as modular individuals can choose the specific itinerary they would like to follow, making for a better and more tailored holiday experience. The hotels often times had no air conditioning or air conditioning that did not work. This is unacceptable in the summers. Yes, you can open the windows, but that oftentimes doesn’t help and lets the bugs in while you sleep. Getting good quality sleep on a tour like this is necessary, but was often impossible on this tour. I understand that Europamundo has no say over their clientele. However, the clientele that tends to book this tour make it miserable. In general, the people are rude, selfish, and loud. They are on their own schedules, listen to music/audio messages/movies out loud, and physically push people out of the way to get themselves and their luggage on/off the bus. They never listen and therefore insist on asking the same questions over and over again. Overall, I genuinely wish I never booked a tour with Europamundo. I absolutely do not recommend this tour company to anyone. It is not a relaxing holiday, it is an infuriating one.
