Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. Your guide meets you later with all the details you need to know. By evening, head over to Via Cavour where you can grab dinner at one of the restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, or international food.
- Day 2
Rome
Start with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome and a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour wraps up at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., and you have the option to visit Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel on your own. After that, transfer to Trastevere for dinner and return to the hotel by about 8:30 p.m.

Rome to Florence
Leave Rome and head north through nice landscapes toward Florence. Your first stop is Piazzale Michelangelo for city views, then walk toward the historic center with time to grab lunch. A local guide leads you through Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. You'll have free time to wander on your own before heading to dinner at a restaurant with international options.

Florence to Venice
Cross the Apennines mountain range heading toward Venice. Once there, take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach the island. Your accommodation is in the Mestre district.

Venice to Salzburg
Head out from Venice toward Austria. You'll arrive in Innsbruck with time to walk through the historic city center and have lunch. From there, continue along scenic mountain roads to Kitzbühel, a well-known ski resort town, and explore the village before pushing on to Salzburg, arriving by the end of the day.

Salzburg
Explore Austria starting in Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace, and wander through the Renaissance and Baroque center with the castle above. Travel through lakes and mountains to St. Wolfgang, a popular pilgrimage site. Next, stop in Traunkirchen by Traunsee Lake for an included boat cruise viewing four castles before docking in Gmunden. Later, travel to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

Vienna

Vienna to Budapest
After about three hours of travel, you'll arrive in Budapest. Start at Vác utca area with free time for lunch. You'll have some free time after, and there's an optional folklore show with dinner in the evening if you're interested.

Budapest to Prague
Leave Budapest early heading to Bratislava, a charming Slovak city along the Danube with a nice historic center. Spend time exploring and grab lunch. Then continue to the Czech Republic and arrive in Prague by evening. Transfer to Old Town Square, which gives you a great introduction to the city. Dinner options include Czech, Chinese, Indian, or Italian cuisine before heading back to your hotel.

Prague
Visit Prague with a local guide for a panoramic tour of the city's key monuments. Prague Castle is included with admission, so you'll see it during the tour.
