You arrive in Adelaide and check into your Scenic Special Stay accommodation. After settling in, you'll meet your Tour Director and other travelers at a welcome dinner this evening. Adelaide's known for its food scene and arts culture, so this is a good time to get oriented and meet the group.

Adelaide to Barossa Valley
This morning you head to Barossa Valley, one of Australia's oldest wine regions. You'll see Maggie Beer's farm shop and watch a cooking demonstration, then have wine and lunch at the historic Seppeltsfield Winery. After that, you tour Jacob's Creek Winery before heading back to Adelaide for the evening.

You spend the day exploring Adelaide itself. There are four Scenic Freechoice options to pick from: a heritage walking tour, Central Market tour, city tour with river cruise, or Adelaide Zoo. Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
You travel south to the Fleurieu Peninsula, passing rolling hills and rugged clifftops. The d'Arenberg Cube in McLaren Vale is a striking five-storey glass structure set right among the vineyards. From there you board a ferry to Kangaroo Island and settle into your hotel for three nights. Later you'll have sunset drinks and beach views before dinner.

This morning you explore Flinders Chase National Park and its natural attractions. You'll see Admiral's Arch and Remarkable Rocks, which offer great photo opportunities. At Seal Bay, a conservation guide takes you for a walk among the third-largest sea lion colony in Australia. You'll hear the seals' unique calls as you walk through.

Kangaroo Island to Glenelg
This morning you take the ferry back to the mainland. On the way, you stop at Gemtree Wines for a Scenic Enrich experience about biodynamic viticulture, with wine and local snacks included. Then you continue to Glenelg, a seaside suburb, and check into your luxurious beachfront Scenic Special Stay for the night.

You travel north to Port Augusta on Spencer Gulf and visit the Wadlata Outback Centre to walk through the 'Tunnel of Time' and learn about outback life. The drive continues through remote Saltbush country on the Barrier Highway, passing through Peterborough and Hawker before reaching Flinders Ranges National Park. You'll settle into Wilpena Pound Resort for two nights and have sunset drinks from Stokes Hill with views over the ranges.

You explore Broken Hill's unique art and history. First, tour the Ant Hill Gallery showing Kevin 'Pro' Hart's unconventional work. Next, head to the outback ghost town of Silverton, a former mining settlement used for over 140 films and commercials. You'll see the restored gaol, art galleries, Silverton Hotel, and Mad Max Museum. Later you visit Daydream Mine to experience early mining life and the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Grab a milkshake at the famous Bells Milk Bar and finish at the Living Desert Sculptures Outdoor Museum at sunset.

Broken Hill to Mildura
You stop in Wentworth where the Murray and Darling Rivers meet. A park ranger leads you through the World Heritage-listed Mungo National Park. You'll see the Mungo lunette and the iconic 'Walls of China', carved from sand layers into a desolate landscape. After that, you drive through Mallee country to reach Mildura on the Murray River banks and stay overnight at your historic hotel.

A full day of cruising brings you toward the impressive Torrumbarry Weir. You'll visit the Interpretive Centre to learn about the Murray Darling Basin and water conservation methods used in the region. In the evening, you enjoy river bird watching as the evening chorus starts up, then finish with your final dinner on board.

As Australia's cultural capital, it's where Australian Impressionism and Rules football began. You'll stay at your Scenic Special Stay tonight.
