Itinerary
- Day 1
Cu Chi Tunnels
You'll travel out to Cu Chi to see the tunnel network that served as a guerrilla warfare base during the war. The tunnels are extensive, and you'll get to walk through sections while learning about the various traps that were set up. There's a brief propaganda video shown on site as well. If you're interested, you can actually crawl through one of the tunnels yourself to get a sense of how tight and disorienting it was. The drive out passes through green paddy fields where you'll see local farmers working and water buffaloes in the fields. At the end of the day, there's an option to fire an M16 or AK47 rifle at the shooting range if you want to, though that comes with an extra fee.
