Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca
Your driver meets you at Mohamed 5 Airport in Casablanca and transfers you to your hotel. If you're already in the city, they'll collect you from where you're staying and you'll begin from there.
 - Day 2
Rabat - Chefchaouen
Start by seeing Hassan 2 Mosque, the largest in Casablanca. Then drive to Rabat to check out Bab Challah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Oudaya Kasbah. Later you'll head toward Chefchaouen. Once there, you'll wander through the blue medina, take photos, and try some local food before the evening settles in.

Fez
This morning explore Chefchaouen's blue medina at your own pace. You'll see the casbah with its red walls and fortress, check out ethnographic and artistic exhibitions, and find the octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque. After lunch, you'll travel onward to Fez.

Fez
Following breakfast, walk through Fez's oldest medina with its narrow winding alleys and small streets. Visit the Royal Palace gate, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Later in the afternoon after lunch, check out the tiles cooperative and take in panoramic views across the medina.

Merzouga
Leave Fez heading toward Merzouga through Midelt and Ziz Valley. You'll pass Ifrane, stop at the cedar forest in the Middle Atlas, and see Barbary apes in Azrou. The drive continues through the Atlas mountains with lunch in Midelt, then through Tiz Ntalghamt and Ziz Gorge. By afternoon you'll reach Merzouga for mint tea and a camel ride across the Sahara to camp.

Dades Valley
Early morning brings a sunrise view over the Sahara, then you'll camel-trek back to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower, head to Todgha Gorges, Morocco's highest and narrowest gorges. Lunch happens in the gorge itself, then you'll drive through Dades Valley seeing rock formations called 'monkey toes' and sand castles before reaching your guesthouse overlooking the valley.

Marrakech
Travel through Dades Valley toward Ouarzazate and Marrakech following the 'way of the thousand Kasbahs'. Stop in Kalaat M'Gouna in the rose valley with an optional cooperative visit. From there, continue to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and Tizi n'Tichka Pass through the High Atlas. There's an optional chance to see Berber women making argan oil before arriving in Marrakech.

After breakfast at your riad, you'll see Marrakech's main sights including Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadian tombs, and Bahia Palace. Grab lunch near the square, then walk through the souks looking at handicrafts. The afternoon is yours to explore other parts of the city at your own pace.

Essaouira
Drive down to Essaouira with an optional stop to see goats in argan trees and visit an argan forest cooperative. Essaouira is a coastal town where you can relax on the beach, walk the long promenade, and have a safe swim. Wander through the medina which blends history and culture with modern cafes and restaurants.
