- Day 1
London to Paris
You'll leave London and head south through the Kent countryside toward Dover. From there, you'll cross the English Channel by ferry to Calais, then continue on to Paris. Once you arrive, you'll have some time to start getting to know the city.

- Day 2
Paris
This morning includes a guided city tour where you'll see the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées with your Travel Director. After that, the rest of the day is yours to explore Paris however you'd like. Head to Montmartre and wander through the winding streets and Artist's Square, checking out galleries and trying local food. If you're interested, there's an optional dinner and cabaret show available this evening.

Paris to Lake Lucerne
You'll travel through the French countryside heading toward Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. As you drive, you'll get nice views of the Alpine landscape and start getting a feel for Switzerland's history, culture, and scenery.

- Day 4
Lucerne
The morning includes a guided tour of Lucerne where you'll see the Chapel Bridge and the Jesuit Church, then visit the Lion Monument (a memorial to Swiss Guards from the French Revolution). After that, you'll have free time to shop for souvenirs or pick an optional activity like taking the cog-wheel railway up Mount Pilatus followed by a scenic lake cruise.

Lucerne to Florence
You'll head south to Florence, a city full of Renaissance art and culture. You're surrounded by Tuscan countryside that hasn't changed much over the centuries. Later this evening, you'll have dinner with the other people in your group.

- Day 6
Florence to Rome
Spend your morning in Florence looking at the city from Piazzale Michelangelo, walking through Piazza della Signoria, and seeing the Duomo and Giotto's Bell Tower. You can choose optional activities like exploring more of the Renaissance heritage or shopping for leather and gold. Then you'll travel to Rome. Once you arrive, you can join an optional guided walk through Rome's squares or just spend time sitting in the piazzas having gelato.

With your Local Guide, you'll head into the heart of Rome and make your way to Vatican City to watch tourists and locals on its holy ground. The rest of the day is open for you to explore the city on your own. If you'd like, there's an optional dinner at a local restaurant this evening.

Rome to Venice
You'll travel to Venice and take in its Byzantine character. You'll cruise on a private launch to St. Mark's Square, see St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, then visit a glassblowing workshop to watch craftspeople at work. There's also an optional gondola and Grand Canal cruise available, where you'll pass grand palaces, churches, and decorative bridges.

Venice to Innsbruck
You'll continue through the Inn Valley to Innsbruck, the main city of the Austrian Tyrol. Check out the impressive ski jump and see the famous Golden Roof (it's covered with 2,657 copper tiles). Then browse the crystal installations and shop at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds Store. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional Tyrolean evening with entertainment.

Innsbruck to the Rhineland
You'll stop first in Munich where you can see the Glockenspiel in Marienplatz and visit the Hofbräuhaus. After that, you'll continue on to the Rhineland region.

Rhineland to Amsterdam
You'll board a relaxing river cruise down the Rhine, passing terraced vineyards and castles that look like they're from a storybook. The journey takes you to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. You'll experience the city's atmosphere as you take in the canals, gabled houses, and lively squares. There's an optional glass-topped boat tour through Amsterdam's historic canal ring if you want one.
