Casablanca to Rabat
You'll arrive at Casablanca Airport and head privately to Rabat, Morocco's capital, about 1.5 hours away. Once there, you can explore the Royal Palace, walk through the ancient Chellah Necropolis, and see Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. The medina souks give you a chance to browse local goods, and you'll also have time for the Andalusian Gardens and Kasbah des Oudaïfs. It's a good introduction to Morocco's royal heritage all in one day.

- Day 2
Rabat to Chefchaouen
After your private transfer from Rabat to Chefchaouen, you'll spend the day in this distinctive blue medina. The red-tiled roofs and vivid blue buildings blend Moroccan and Andalusian styles in a way you won't see elsewhere. You can check out Plaza Uta el-Hammam, visit the restored kasbah and Grand Mosque, and walk through the kasbah gardens and Quartier Al Andalous. - Day 3
Chefchaouen - Fes
You'll head south toward Fes with a stop at Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Roman ruins worth exploring. From there, continue east to Fes where you'll check into your riad and take in its Moroccan architecture. The journey covers about 2.5 hours total, so you'll have the evening to settle in and get oriented.

Fes

Fes to Merzouga
You'll leave Fes early and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane with its alpine-style architecture. The route goes through cedar forests where Barbary monkeys live, past nomadic villages, and by the Ziz Valley where you can stop for photos. After about 7.5 hours of travel, you'll reach Merzouga late in the evening and check into your riad.

- Day 6
Merzouga

You'll drive through the rose valley and into Ouarzazate, known as the 'Hollywood of Africa' because of its film studios. After visiting the studios, head to Ait Ben Haddou with its majestic setting, then cross the High Atlas Mountains to reach Imlil. There you'll experience Berber hospitality, have dinner, and stay the night. The journey covers about 6 hours.
