Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive in Delhi where your tour representative meets you at the airport. After getting settled into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to rest and adjust to the time difference.

Delhi
Starting after breakfast, you'll head into Old Delhi to see the Jama Masjid and wander through Chandni Chowk bazaar by rickshaw. From there, you'll stop at the Red Fort, then continue to Rajghat memorial, Humayun Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Along the way, you'll pass by Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate.

Delhi to Agra
You'll drive to Agra and check into your hotel. Later this afternoon, you'll explore Agra Fort with its historic halls and chambers. By evening, you head to the Taj Mahal to watch the sunset and see how the light shifts across the marble as the sun goes down.

- Day 4
Agra to Ranthambore
On the drive toward Ranthambore, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri to walk through this old Mughal city. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you'll continue on to Ranthambore, where you'll check in. The town is known for its tigers and 16th-century Mughal structures.

- Day 5
Ranthambore
You'll head out early in the morning and again in the evening for safaris in Ranthambore National Park. During these trips, you'll search for Bengal tigers and might spot leopards, jackals, gazelles, and boars in their natural surroundings. Between safaris, you'll return to your hotel for breakfast and to rest.

Ranthambore to Jaipur
You'll drive to Jaipur, known as the Pink City for its pink sandstone buildings and busy markets. After checking in, your afternoon is free. In the evening, you'll visit a local home for a cooking class where you'll make authentic Indian dishes and then eat what you've prepared with your host.

- Day 7
Jaipur
You'll see Jaipur's main sights, starting with Amer Fort where you can ride an elephant. Next, you'll check out the City Palace, Jantar Mantar with its large sundial, and Hawa Mahal with its 953 carved windows. You'll spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs in Jaipur's popular markets.

New Delhi to Bhutan

Thimphu
You'll explore Thimphu's spiritual and cultural sites, including the King's Memorial Chorten and the large Buddha Dordenma statue. You'll visit the Folk Heritage Museum to learn about traditional Bhutanese life, then head to Sangaygang BBS Tower for views of the valley. Later you'll see the old Changangkha Lhakhang temple and take an evening walk through Clock Tower Square.

Punakha
You'll start by visiting the 15th-century Chimi Lhakhang fertility temple, then walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge, which is Bhutan's longest, over Po Chhu Lake. After that, you'll check out the Punakha Dzong fortress and the Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten, which shows off Bhutanese art and architecture.

You'll drive to Paro, a town between two rivers with old Buddhist temples and monasteries. Once you check into your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day to explore at your own pace.

Landmarks Paro - Day 14
Paro
You'll head up to Chelela Pass at 13,084 feet/3,988 meters for views of snow-capped mountains. You'll then see Rinpung Dzong fortress-monastery and Kyichu Lhakhang temple from 659 AD. Later you'll trek to Tiger's Nest Taktshang monastery, which sits on a cliff at over 10,000 feet/3,048 meters. Keep in mind this trek has steep and challenging sections.
