Itinerary

Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
You'll start before sunrise, leaving Ho Chi Minh City around 5:00 AM for a 3-hour drive to the Mekong Delta. Once you arrive, you're heading straight to Cai Rang Floating Market to catch it in the early morning when it's most active. From there, you'll board a traditional boat and cruise the Mekong River, passing by small islets and taking in the landscape. After that, you'll switch to a sampan to navigate the narrower waterways lined with coconut palms. There's a stop at a bee farm where you can taste honey tea and try local fruits, and you'll hear some traditional music during your time on the water. Lunch happens locally before you make the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving around 4:45 PM.
