- Day 1
Broome
You'll arrive in Broome and have the afternoon and evening to settle in at your own pace. Head down to Cable Beach to catch the sunset with locals, or check out the pearl shops and colorful streets of Chinatown if that appeals to you more. Later, you'll join your Travel Director for a sunset toast with bubbles on hand.

- Day 2
Broome
This is a full free day in tropical Broome. Walk through the pearl boutiques, take a stroll along the 22-kilometre Cable Beach, or wander around Chinatown at your own pace. Optional activities include visiting a pearl farm to see how they cultivate pearls, or booking a scenic flight if you want a different perspective. Dinner tonight overlooks Cable Beach with your fellow travelers.

Broome to Port Hedland
You'll travel through the Pilbara landscape with its striking red earth and mineral streaks. The route takes you to Port Hedland to see the world's largest bulk export port before continuing on toward your next destination.

Karijini National Park
Today you're exploring Karijini National Park in the Hamersley Range. There are deep gorges to walk through, cascading waterfalls to see, and turquoise rock pools set in the rugged escarpments. The park spans 630,000 hectares with red layered cliffs, quiet gorges, tall gum trees, and distinctive termite mounds throughout.

- Day 5
Karijini to Karratha
You'll head back through rugged terrain toward the coast and Karratha. Stop at Ngajarli (Deep Gorge) to follow trails and check out ancient petroglyphs while learning about indigenous history. Later, you'll visit the Red Dog Statue and find out why this famous canine larrikin is so significant to the region.

Karratha to Exmouth
Today involves traveling hundreds of kilometres through the Pilbara along the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Coast toward Exmouth. This is your gateway to Ningaloo Reef, and your accommodation sits just meters from the waterline with ocean views from the North West Cape.

- Day 7
Exmouth (Ningaloo Reef)
You have a full day at Ningaloo Reef with options depending on what appeals to you. Snorkel with an ethical operator where you might see whale sharks and humpback whales, or book a sunset cruise if you'd rather stay dry. You could also spend the day walking the sand looking for dolphins. It's entirely your choice.

Exmouth to Carnarvon
Take a glass-bottom boat cruise through the Ningaloo marine sanctuary to see turtles, colorful coral, and fish without getting wet. An onboard naturalist will guide your experience. After that, you'll travel to Carnarvon and tour the Space and Technology Museum, which played a major role in broadcasting the 1969 moon landing to the world.

Carnarvon to Shark Bay
You're heading to World Heritage-listed Shark Bay, Australia's largest bay with over 1,000 kilometres of beaches. Stop at Hamelin Pool to see stromatolites (living fossils from 3.5 billion years ago), then visit Shell Beach with its snow-white stretch of billions of coquina bivalve shells covering 70 kilometres. You'll arrive at Monkey Mia by evening.

Monkey Mia to Geraldton
You'll travel to Kalbarri National Park to see gorges, towering coastal cliffs, and rare wildlife from the Kalbarri Skywalk. If it's wildflower season, you'll see spectacular blooms across the countryside. Later, continue to Geraldton and visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial to pay respects to sailors lost off the WA coast during WWII. Spend the rest of the day exploring the seaside town.

- Day 12
Geraldton to Perth
Two final wilderness areas wrap up your journey. Explore Nambung National Park where the Pinnacles create a moonscape with limestone structures up to 3.5 metres high, then visit Yanchep National Park for an Aboriginal guided experience. You'll taste native bush tucker, smell medicinal plants, and possibly play the didgeridoo. Later you'll arrive in Perth for a farewell dinner to swap contact details with fellow travelers.
