Cruise Departure
You'll board your river cruise ship at 5:00 p.m. and head out toward Mainz. After settling in, meet the crew at a welcome cocktail and then sit down for dinner on board. The ship cruises through the night as you get comfortable in your cabin.

Mainz to Frankfurt
Early morning you'll arrive in Mainz and join a guided walk through the city, stopping at the imperial cathedral and Gutenbergplatz. If interested, there's an optional panoramic tour of Frankfurt with a visit to the Main Tower observation deck (roughly 70°F/21°C). By evening the ship heads toward Miltenberg.

Miltenberg to Wertheim to Würzburg
Get an early morning walk through Miltenberg's charming half-timbered streets with your host. Later in the afternoon you'll cruise to Wertheim and have free time to wander the old town on your own. The ship then continues toward Würzburg overnight.

Würzburg
You wake up in Würzburg and can optionally take a guided tour of the Würzburg Residence to see its baroque staircase and rococo Imperial Hall. The afternoon is yours to explore the town at your own pace. After dinner on board, the ship cruises toward Schweinfurt.

Schweinfurt to Nuremberg
Starting from Schweinfurt, there's an optional coach tour to Rothenburg ob der Tauber with its well-preserved Renaissance architecture. You'll return to the ship and cruise toward Nuremberg while taking in Main River scenery and enjoying activities on board.

Nuremberg
In Nuremberg, you can join an optional guided tour covering the medieval old town with its narrow streets and half-timbered buildings, plus the Marktplatz. Try Lebkuchen, the local gingerbread specialty, while you're there. Afternoon brings a cruise on the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal with entertainment in the evening.

Evening entertainment happens on board before cruising to Passau overnight.

Passau to Vienna
Passau, known as the City of Three Rivers, awaits you. Visit St. Stephen's Cathedral and St. Michael's Church either independently or with your host. After returning to the ship, you'll cruise toward Vienna in the afternoon and celebrate with a festive gala evening on board.

Vienna
Vienna offers several choices. Visit Schoenbrunn Palace, take a panoramic tour of the Ring boulevard, or see the grand Hofburg Palace complex. In the evening there's an optional concert of Viennese classical music with Mozart and Strauss. The ship stays overnight in Vienna.
