- Day 1
Islamabad
You'll arrive in Islamabad and check in at the Islamabad Marriott Hotel where your tour leader gives you a briefing on what's ahead. After that, you head to the Monument of Pakistan and Lok Virsa Museum to get a sense of the country's history and culture. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then make your way to Daman e Koh Islamabad for views overlooking the city. Before returning to your hotel, you'll have free time to walk through the local markets and pick up anything that catches your eye.

Islamabad to Gilgit
After breakfast at the Marriott, you transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your flight to Skardu. Once you land, you drive to Gilgit City and visit Kargah Buddha Rock located in Kargah Nala. By evening you check in at your hotel for the night.

Hunza
You'll drive into Hunza with mountain views surrounding you the whole way, particularly Rakaposhi, Ultar Sar, and Hunza Peak. The route takes you through Gojal in Upper Hunza where glaciers and meadows come into view against dramatic peaks. Your accommodation is Serena Hunza for the night.

Hunza
Spend your time in Hunza District exploring Attabad Lake, a 20.9 km body of water in the Gojal region. The lake offers boating, jet-skiing, and fishing if you're interested in water activities. After your time there, head back to Hunza and settle in at Moksha Resort.

Hunza - Sost
You're heading toward Sost along the Karakoram Highway, moving through Khyber Valley in Gojal Hunza. Along the way, you'll visit the historical Qalandarchi fort located in Misgar Valley. Later, check into Fortune One Sost for the night.

Sost to Tashkurgan
Cross the border into China and travel to Tashkurgan, the main city in Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County in Xinjiang. You'll meet local Chinese Tajiks, an ethnic Pamiri group living in the Pamir Mountains. This location sits on the historic Silk Road route. You'll stay overnight in Tashkurgan.

Tashkurgan
Your day focuses on the Pamir Mountains, called the 'Roof of the World' because peaks reach over 4,000 meters throughout the region. Look for wildlife and different terrain types as you travel through, and interact with Pamiri people to learn about their culture. After exploring, you'll head to Kashgar for the night.

Kashgar to Bulunkul
You visit Kongur Tagh Mountains, the highest peak in both the Pamir Mountains and Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Then you travel to Bulunkul, noted as the coldest town in Central Asia. You see Yashilkul Lake, known for its 'warm' spring, and then return to Kashgar for the night.

Tashkurgan - Hunza - Gilgit
Return to Pakistan and drive back toward Hunza. Check out Karimabad, the district capital, which offers views of Rakaposhi, Nanga Parbat, and Ultar Sar. From there, visit Juglot where the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush mountains meet, then walk around Passu village to see its famous suspension bridge. You'll overnight in Gilgit.

Skardu
You're exploring the Skardu region starting with Basho Valley, known for its beauty and snow-capped peaks. Use a 4x4 jeep to travel deeper into the valley, then visit other spots including Manthokha Waterfall, Shigar Fort, and Shigar Valley. Each location offers something different from the others.

Skardu - Khaplu
Move around the Skardu region heading into Khaplu Valley. Stop at the Confluence point where Shayok River meets the Indus River, then arrive in Khaplu to see Masjid Chaqchan and Khaplu Palace. You'll stay and relax overnight at Khaplu Palace.
