Yogyakarta
Start your day at Keraton palace, then visit Taman Sari Water Palace. In the afternoon, head about 2 hours away to Borobudur Temple, the world's largest Buddhist monument.

Malang

Get up early and climb Mount Penanjakan to watch the sunrise over active Bromo volcano. Drive through the 'sea of sand' in a 4x4 with photo stops, then continue to Kalibaru mountain town. You can choose to hike to a waterfall or visit a plantation.

Lovina

Travel to central Bali with nice stops along the way. See the twin lakes Buyan and Tamblingan near Wanagiri, then Banyumala waterfall, and finally Pura Ulun Danu Bratan temple sitting in a mountain lake at 1,200 meters. You'll reach Ubud by afternoon.
