- NJNFN· December 17th, 2018We had some trouble because the level of the river was low, and so a lot of our tour ended up being bus rides, and not on the boat as we were expecting. We received a partial refund for this, but it was not nearly enough to cover the amount of trip lost. The cruise director was also not the greatest and I believe complained too much to us passengers that she was having to make alternative plans for us. It definitely was not our fault the river was low. That being said, I was very happy with the food and the other staff aboard the ship. I probably would not book another tour through Avalon though because I do not feel like I got enough value for the cost of the trip.Show moreTrip date: November 2018
