Maurice· October 7th, 2025Our cycling journey from Saigon to Angkor with Siem Reaper Travel was an incredible experience. The bikes provided were excellent and perfect for the daily rides of about 50–60 km. We pedaled through breathtakingly green and lush landscapes in comfortable, warm weather. Every day brought new sights, from scenic countryside to interesting cultural stops, and we got to enjoy fantastic local food along the way. The accommodations were always well-located and very hospitable, making us feel welcome after a long day of cycling. A huge credit goes to our tour leader Mr Sum; he were incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and made the trip seamless and enriching. We learned so much as we visited countless places between the two destinations. It's a fantastic way to see the region, and we highly recommend it.Show moreTrip date: September 2025

Harvey· September 27th, 2025My wife and I completed the bike tour with Siem Reaper Travel. It was an incredible experience from start to finish! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the journey seamless. Accommodations were comfortable and well-chosen, ensure a good rest after each day of cycling. The food in both Vietnam and Cambodia was amazing, every meal felt like a culinary adventure. The bikes provided were of excellent quality, made the rides smooth and enjoyable. The highlight for me was cycling along the Mekong Delta, which offered breathtaking views and a truly immersive experience. Visiting Angkor Wat was perfect; its grandeur and history left me in awe. I highly recommend them and will definitely do another bike trip with them again.Show moreTrip date: September 2025- JMjeff· January 21st, 2025The tour was an unforgettable experience with the opportunity to visit the small towns and villages of rural Vietnam and Cambodia with locals. Probably best for experienced cyclists. The guides on the trip provided continuous updates on where we were going, what we would be seeing, and encouraged us to stop and take pictures along the way. They explained places of cultural significance, pointed out different crops, and were happy to answer questions. There were three guides: one at the front, one at the back (also a bike mechanic), and another in the middle and doing all photography. The lead guide for Vietnam was from Vietnam, and the lead guide for Cambodia was from Cambodia, as was intentional by the company to ensure that the trip was truly led by locals. They anticipated the cyclists’ needs very well; every 10 to 15 km we had stops for water breaks, including various options for juices and electrolyte water, dried and fresh fruit, and locally produced snacks. The guides made adjustments to the daily plan based on our capabilities, interests, and energy level. The lunch stops were always local places with lots of options for any dietary restriction. The guides specifically had us visit significant spots to each village, and even had us stop for meals at locals’ homes. At the end of the day, the guides oriented us to each city that we stopped in and recommended things to visit and places to eat. The hotels were clean and satisfactory, but not the highest end hotels; more than adequate for the overnights. The cycling itself was great. We rode on paved paths, asphalt, gravel, dirt, single tracks, and the guides ensured that we were aware of the coming terrain and could go whatever speed we wanted. The bikes themselves were good quality mountain bikes (e-bikes available) and the mechanic made any necessary adjustments, even putting on different seats (woman’s seat on advance request). We rode 30-70km per day, depending on the schedule and choice, as someone could always finish early and just ride in the passenger van. The trip was specifically curated so that there was a balance between cycling and important cultural experiences. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy cycling and seeing Vietnam and Cambodia differently from just being in the major cities.Show more

Show moreTrip date: January 2025 - ATAnn· March 1st, 2024Where do we start? What an amazing time we had. The Siem Reaper team were fantastic. The communication from them beforehand was excellent. The mountain bikes were appropriate for the task. The support team were really outstanding. Not only did we have two guides, one leading and the other at the end of our group, but we also had a dedicated photographer with us taking hundreds of photos and also some drone footage. The support vehicle team were also brilliant, they had scheduled refreshment stops where they greeted us with much welcomed ice cold towelettes, drinks and fruit. Hotter than we had anticipated but better when moving on the bikes. Generally flat terrain but surfaces ranging from smooth tarmac roads to sandy narrow tracks. Breathtaking scenery in both countries with the addition of the temples in Cambodia. Local people welcoming and generous and several stops to see local crafts/businesses. Great food experiences - tarantulas optional! All in all a fantastic trip which exceeded our expectations. Would thoroughly recommend Siem Reapers as a tour company. Thank you all!Show moreTrip date: February 2024

Nicolas· June 29th, 2023My wife and I went on cycling tour with Siem Reaper Travel which took us through Vietnam and Cambodia. It was an fantastic trip that allowed us to immerse in the rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, ancient temples and friendly local communities of these two Southeast Asian countries. The tour was well-organized and offered a good balance of cycling, sightseeing, and cultural encounters. Our group was led by experienced guides who were not only knowledgeable about the routes and destinations but also passionate about sharing their love for these countries. The biking routes themselves were a true highlight. Vietnam boasts diverse terrains, ranging from bustling cities to picturesque countryside and charming rural villages. Cycling along the winding paths, we had the chance to witness breathtaking natural beauty, including the Mekong Delta, lush rice paddies, tranquil rivers, and dense forests. The routes were well-planned, offering a mix of challenging stretches for more experienced riders and easier sections for those seeking a more relaxed pace. In Cambodia, we visited ancient temples, such as Angkor Wat, Bayon, and jungle temples, and learn about the rich history and spiritual significance behind these architectural marvels. Interacting with local communities was a memorable experience as well. We also cycled through the remote floating village, stopping to meet friendly locals who welcomed us with warm smiles and introduced us to their way of life. These interactions provided a unique insight into the local customs, traditions, and cuisine. The accommodations bikes, and meals during our trip were exceptional. We were fortunate to stay at the finest hotels in the region, allowing us to relax after a long day of cycling. The meal provide during the trip was delicious. And bikes were top grade, brand new Trek Bike. The overall experience was exceptional, with just a few minor hiccups along the way. The weather in Southeast Asia can be unpredictable, and we encountered a few rain showers during our tour. But, our guides quickly provided rain gear and adjusted the itinerary when necessary, ensuring that we still enjoyed the trip despite the weather challenges. Additionally, some sections of the cycling routes were quite busy with traffic, especially in Vietnam. Our guide and his assistant were skilled at navigating these situations, and safety was always a top priority. I definitely highly recommend this trip, It's a unique way to explore both countries on slow roads, offering a blend of physical activity, cultural immersion, and memorable experiences.Show moreTrip date: June 2023
Brandon· June 4th, 2023This is an active holiday and anyone that likes cycling can have a great time. This is a fantastic way to see the people and the country on slow pace. Anyone reasonable fit can do this trip because you have good group staff and support. Our incredible tour began in Saigon, where we set off on an exciting cycle through the picturesque Mekong Delta. From there, we cruised along the magnificent Mekong river to Phnom Penh city. We ended our journey in Siem Reap, where we were able to marvel at the breathtaking Angkor temples - a truly awe-inspiring monument. Our group leader was Sum and his assistant helped out to made this a real great cycling holiday. Sum made the holiday and with his staff we had good stops for rest every 15 to 20 km. So it was not so hard to ride 80 km in one day and after the fist few days you got use to longer days. Thank you Siem Reaper Travel for amazing trip and Sum for always taking care of us.Show moreTrip date: May 2023

Laura· May 14th, 2023This tour was superb! We get to see so much of the Mekong Delta and the way of life here. The trips each day showed us something new. We cycled from Ho Chi Minh city to Angkor Wat Cambodia. We really enjoyed the speed boat down the Mekong River, the fishing village and the Muslim village, floating markets, the boat trips in the jungle, crocodile farm and more. Our tour leader Sum was very knowledgeable and friendly as was the driver. We were very happy that we decided to book this trip. We will do another trip with Siem Reaper Travel again.Show moreTrip date: April 2023
