Itinerary
- Day 1
Budapest
Your river cruise adventure starts in Budapest with boarding by 5 pm, so you'll need to arrive at the airport by 2 pm. You've got the afternoon to explore the city before your evening departure to Vienna. Grab coffee at a local café, walk around and see the sights, take some photos. There's plenty to see on your own terms before heading back to the ship.

Vienna
After arriving in Vienna, spend the day sailing down the Danube. Head up to the Sky Deck and relax as the landscape passes by. You'll float past Bratislava with its red rooftops and rolling countryside. That evening, there's an optional Royal Waltz Concert in an elegant hall if you want to catch some live music.

Vienna
Vienna gives you choices. You can bike along Danube Island with your Adventure Host or take a guided tour of Vienna's Habsburg landmarks like the Imperial Palace, Opera House, and St. Stephen's Cathedral. In the afternoon, check out the Prater amusement park, wander through museums, or borrow a ship bike to see Vienna's squares and the Danube banks on your own. Later on there's an onboard waltz lesson if that interests you, plus evening entertainment.

Melk
The morning in Wachau Valley offers options: bike through the valley, do an interactive wine tasting, or take a guided walk through the charming town. After that, the ship sails through the scenic valley to Melk. Grab coffee or a cocktail on the Sky Deck during the cruise. Once in Melk, explore the Benedictine Abbey with its frescoed ceilings and ornate library, or join a wine tasting on board. Then it's on to Passau.

Passau
Passau, known as the City of Three Rivers, has a guided city walk to explore where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers meet. Or you can take a full-day optional excursion to Mozart's birthplace in Salzburg or the charming Bohemian town of Cesky Krumlov if you prefer something different. Later, you'll head back to meet your ship in Passau for the sail to Regensburg.

Regensburg
Regensburg is a medieval Bavarian city with several options. You can bike out to Walhalla, join a guided walk through the Old Town Hall and see the Porta Pretoria fortress gate from 179 AD, or just spend a free afternoon walking or biking the charming streets on your own. There's also an optional visit to the Benedictine Monastery in Weltenburg if that appeals to you. After dinner there's live entertainment, and then the ship sails to Roth.

Start with an onboard lecture about the Main-Danube Canal and its importance. In Roth itself, you'll have multiple options: bike through the Lauter valley, take a guided tour of the half-timbered Bavarian town with its market square and 1535 hunting lodge, or head to medieval Nuremberg to see the Gothic cathedral and Kaiserburg Castle. There's also the option to visit the historic Nuremberg Rally Grounds. The day ends with an onboard beer tasting.
