May I still be able to see some part of the cherry blossoms? I can't be in Japan earlier. Do you advise for me take additional tour going north after this tour so I can see the cherry blossoms

    Tour Details
    • Tourist JourneyOperatorWritten January 2025

While the cherry blossoms are typically at their peak in late March to early April, there are still chances to catch them in late April, especially in northern regions like Hokkaido. You could consider extending your tour with a visit to places like Sapporo or other northern areas, where cherry blossoms bloom later, usually into mid-April.

Which hotel is standard or boutique?

    • S

      Susan

      TravelerWritten January 2025

Have read the hotel choices. Between Sakura Sky Hotel versus Hotel Celestine which one is the standard or boutique hotel. And so with the rest of hotels in Kyoto and Osaka? Which ones are the standard vs boutique?

    • Tourist JourneyOperatorWritten January 2025

Sakura Sky Hotel would be standard (3 stars) and Hotel Celestine is boutique (4 stars). However, please know that this is just one example - as what you are choosing is a category, not a specific hotel (it might not be Sakura or Celestine). For example, in Kyoto a boutique hotel could be The Royal Park Hotel.
