Itinerary
- Day 1
Maun
You'll land in Maun and have the afternoon to get oriented in town. Change money, grab any supplies you might need, and take a walk around to get your bearings. Around 6pm you'll meet your tour leader and the rest of your group for the first time. Dinner together that evening gives everyone a chance to connect before heading into the delta. Keep in mind you'll want to pack light for the Okavango since your main bag stays with the driver while you're out on the water.

- Day 2
Maun to Okavango Delta
After a relaxed morning at the hotel, you'll head to the Okavango Delta. Depending on water levels, you'll either board traditional mokoros (dugout canoes) or take a 4x4 to reach camp. Once there, meet your local guides and settle into dome tents at the wild camp. You can swim in the Delta or simply listen to the sounds around you, and the stargazing here is really something special.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 3
Okavango Delta
An early breakfast gets you started before you spend the day exploring Delta waterways and islands by mokoro and on foot. You're likely to see elephants, lions, hippos, and plenty of birds throughout the day. Back at camp for lunch, you'll have sundowners this evening and then relax around the campfire after dinner.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 4
Okavango Delta to Maun
Take one last exploration of the Delta in the morning before heading back to the collection point by mokoro. You'll return to Maun by lunch, leaving the afternoon free. If you want, there are optional scenic flights or helicopter rides available, or you can just rest after your time in the bush.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 5
Maun to Guma Lagoon
Start your morning relaxing before transferring north through the Botswana bush toward Guma Lagoon. The terrain gets increasingly sandy, and you'll switch to a 4x4 for the final stretch to reach the lodge on the lagoon banks. Once you arrive, spend time at this peaceful waterside property or take an optional boat ride if you feel like getting out on the water.

Guma Lagoon to Rundu
After breakfast, head north and cross into Namibia at the Mohembo border post. Drive through Mahango Game Park where you'll likely see elephants and other wildlife. Continue along the Caprivi Strip through increasingly wild landscape until you reach Rundu, a riverside town on the Kavango River near the Angolan border.

Rundu to Etosha National Park
Travel to Etosha National Park, Namibia's main safari destination. This huge arid wilderness has a large saltpan, mixed forest, grassland, and scattered waterholes where animals come to drink. You'll arrive in time for a late afternoon game drive, then settle into your accommodation, often positioned right by a waterhole. Night drives are available if you want to try them.

Landmarks Etosha National Park 
- Day 8
Etosha National Park
Spend three hours on a game drive through Etosha National Park. Watch for zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, elephants, lions, and black rhinos. The park is also excellent for birdwatching, with water birds on the lakes and weaverbirds and hornbills in the trees.

Landmarks Etosha National Park - Day 9
Etosha to Damaraland
Leave Etosha and drive to Damaraland, passing traditional Damara huts and Herero houses with cattle herds. Stop in Outjo for coffee and cake at a local German bakery or grab an early lunch. Continue to a rustic community lodge at the base of Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain. From here you can look for desert elephants roaming the Ugab River, and the stargazing is exceptional from this isolated spot. An optional 4x4 game drive is available to search for desert elephants.

Landmarks Brandberg Ugab River 
- Day 10
Damaraland to Swakopmund
Head to Brandberg for a 1 hour 45 minute walk through a valley with granite formations and birdlife, leading to the White Lady rock painting created by San people over 2,000 years ago. If elephants are nearby, you'll do a game drive instead for safety. Otherwise, you can relax at the lodge or join a game drive. Later, drive to Swakopmund, a charming German colonial coastal town known for its cake shops, coffee houses, and high-adrenaline activities.

Swakopmund
You have a full free day to try Swakopmund's many activities or just kick back and relax. On the water there's deep sea fishing. In the desert you can go sandboarding or quad biking. In the sky you can fly over the Skeleton Coast. Or spend your time enjoying Viennese style cakes, walking the beach or nearby dunes, and watching the people in this unusual African town.

Landmarks Skeleton Coast Swakopmund Beach - Day 12
Swakopmund to Sossusvlei
After breakfast, visit nearby Walvis Bay where you should see flamingos. Journey through Namib-Naukluft National Park, one of the world's driest and oldest deserts. You'll travel on a long gravel road through spectacular desert scenery with great photo stops. Lunch is in Solitaire before continuing to your guestfarm lodge.

Landmarks Walvis Bay Namib-Naukluft National Park - Day 13
Sossusvlei
Get up early to see the Sossusvlei dunes in beautiful morning light and climb one for fantastic views. Explore an eerie desert landscape with dead 900-year-old camelthorn trees. Walk 2.5 miles (4km) to Hiddenvlei or take an optional 4x4 transfer to Deadvlei. Watch for gemsbok or ostriches among the dunes. Your final dinner together happens in the evening.

Solitaire to Windhoek
Start early for the long drive back to Windhoek where the tour ends. The group transfer is timed to match your chosen flight to London, so make sure your flight doesn't leave before the scheduled transfer time.
