Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bangkok
Land in Bangkok and your private guide meets you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel by private car. They'll help with luggage and get you checked in smoothly. You'll receive a local SIM card with unlimited 5G internet and complimentary international calling credit, so you're connected right away.



- Day 2
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Bangkok Temples
Travel about 100 km to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and take a long-tail boat through the bustling vendors, which is most active between 8 am and 11 am. You can either explore by 4-seat boat or walk the riverbanks. After lunch, head back to Bangkok to see Wat Pho and its impressive 49-meter gold-plated Reclining Buddha, then finish at the Royal Grand Palace to view the Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Kaew.

Kanchanaburi War History and River Kwai
Head west to Kanchanaburi province (128 km from Bangkok) to explore World War II sites. You'll visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre museum, the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery honoring 6,000 Allied POWs, and the Bridge over the River Kwai. After lunch, check out the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre and walk the Memorial Trail along the original rail bed. Later, take a long-tail boat to River Kwai Jungle Rafts for dinner, an overnight stay, and a 45-minute traditional Mon Dance performance.

- Day 4
Mon Tribal Village and River Kwai
After breakfast, visit a nearby Mon tribal village to meet locals and learn about their history, religion, and culture. You'll wear traditional Sa-rong Mon clothing, play the Saba traditional game, and make Tanaka powder, a natural cosmetic. Take an easy jungle trail walk along the river to a viewpoint overlooking River Kwai. Lunch is at the resort, followed by optional activities like bamboo rafting, canoeing, river jumping, or Thai massage. Another night at the resort.

- Day 5
Death Railway and Travel to Chiang Mai
Check out after breakfast and take a local long-tail boat to Phu Takien pier. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then board the historic Death Railway Train ride passing over the original wooden viaduct built by Allied POWs. From there, return to Bangkok and head to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai.

- Day 6
Doi Suthep Mountain and Meo Hill Tribe Villages
The morning is yours to relax or wander around. In the afternoon, take about a 1-hour scenic drive to Doi Suthep Mountain. Climb 309 steps to reach Wat Phra That, one of Northern Thailand's sacred temples (a tram is available for a small fee if you prefer). From the top, you'll see panoramic views of Chiang Mai. Then ride a songthaew across mountain roads to the Meo hill tribe villages, about 18 km further into Doi Suthep Pui National Park. Visit households and learn about local customs before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 7
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary
A half-day at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary gives you time with elephants in their natural setting. Your private transfer takes you through scenic agricultural areas to the sanctuary. Once there, you'll meet your English-speaking guide, change into traditional Karen clothing, and get bananas and sugar cane to feed the free-roaming elephants. You'll learn about their individual stories and behaviors while interacting with them. Return to your hotel in the afternoon with the rest of the day free.
