Arrival
You'll arrive in Sydney whenever works for you. After meeting your CEO and other travelers, you'll head to the hotel to settle in. Then spend the rest of the day checking out the city on your own schedule and getting oriented to the area.

Sydney
Start with a walking tour through Sydney's main landmarks to get your bearings. From there, take a ferry from Circular Quay over to Manly Beach where your CEO can point out local recommendations. Walk the coastal path to Shelly Beach and grab some fish and chips somewhere along the water. End the evening with the group at a local restaurant for dinner.

Fly to Yulara and settle into your tented camp. This afternoon you'll explore Walpa Gorge at Kata Tjuta, then position yourself to catch the sunset over Uluru. After that, head back to camp for dinner served under the stars in the open air.

Yulara
Get up early to watch the sunrise over Uluru. A guide will take you through culturally significant areas of this sacred Indigenous site, explaining its history and meaning. Later in the day, you'll travel overland to Kings Canyon where you'll stay at another tented camp.

Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
This morning brings a Kings Canyon hike. You can take on the challenging 3-hour Rim Walk with its steep 500-step ascent for panoramic views, or go for the easier 2km valley route through the canyon floor. After your hike, drive east toward Alice Springs where you'll arrive in the afternoon.

Alice Springs to Melbourne
Tour Alice Springs this morning, visiting the historic Telegraph Station that once connected Australia to the British Empire and seeing Anzac Hill. Then fly to Melbourne, a city known for its food scene and arts. Your CEO can arrange an optional dinner if you're interested.

Explore Melbourne using your feet and the public transport system. Start at Queen Victoria Markets, then join a guided walk through both famous and hidden laneways around the city. Melbourne to Cairns
Fly to Cairns, your gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Australia's oceanside. You'll arrive with time to get settled and start getting a feel for this tropical city.

Cairns to Cape Tribulation
Head north toward Cape Tribulation. Along the way, stop at Mossman Gorge for a walk and then take an interpretive tour through the Daintree Rainforest where you'll learn about Indigenous peoples and the area's ancient ecosystem that's been here for thousands of years.

Spend your morning in Byron Bay however you like, or sign up in advance for a kayaking tour if paddling appeals to you. The afternoon brings a surf lesson with a trained instructor who'll teach you the basics and then let you practice catching some waves in the water.

Byron Bay to Port Macquarie
Start the morning browsing Byron Bay's local shops or grab a coffee on the beach to relax. Later you'll drive to Port Macquarie, a coastal township with beautiful beaches and gorgeous national parks surrounding the area.

Travel from Port Macquarie up to the Blue Mountains, known for their soaring sandstone ridges.
