- Giorgio· October 1st, 2025An unforgettable and memorable experience exploring the east coast of Australia from Brisbane to Port Douglas! It is a stunning part of the world and I so am glad that I went on this tour which enabled me to experience it! I wasn’t really sure what to expect as I’ve never been on a tour of this kind before however I enjoyed every second of it and was sad to see it come to an end. Some of my highlights were exploring and snorkelling around the Whitsunday Islands and also scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef which was spectacular, along with the incredible scenery throughout the tour! The entire tour was very well organised to a high standard, was well paced and transportation was also comfortable, I also found the tour very interesting, educational and thought provoking. I learned things that I never would have known had I not gone on this tour. I must also give a huge shout out to Jason who was a tour leader and he was simply incredible and made the tour so special. His knowledge of the various locations and wildlife was second to none and there were not many questions in which he did not know the answer! He was also extremely friendly and caring and did everything that he could to make sure that the whole group had the best time possible. He was always on hand to help anyone with any problem, no matter how big or small, and he bonded with us and felt like a friend throughout the entire tour. I could not have asked for a better tour leader. This tour was an amazing experience that I will never forget, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!Show more
- Amy· September 30th, 2025A beautifully and thoughtfully curated tour which provides an excellent insight into the east coast of Australia! A wide variety of things to do and places to see — I could not recommend it enough. Now I just need to come back! Having travelled solo plenty before, but never in a group, this was an entirely new experience for me. If you’re lucky enough to have Jason as your tour guide you have hit the jackpot! Nothing was ever too much to ask. He brought together people of all ages and walks of life, ensuring that everyone felt important and heard, and most of all, had fun!! He was adaptable, knowledgeable, kind and hilarious throughout. Group members overcame fears and tried new things, in no short part due to Jason. I’ve made friends for life and will absolutely be returning to Aus!Show more
- Troy· June 1st, 2025This tour provides an excellent opportunity to see and experience Australia’s east coast. It strikes a near perfect balance between the number of places you visit and time spent in location. Our guide, Jason, demonstrated true professionalism and an extraordinary ability to adapt our trip to the desires of the guests. This trip has our highest recommendation.Show more

Asked on May 14th, 2025how many people in a group and what type of a bus do we travel in
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written May 2025The maximum number is 16 passengers. The bus can vary depending on the group size but it usually a 14 seater Hiace or a 24 seater Rosa. As the distance we cover can be long, we always make sure we have plenty of stops and breaks to get out of the bus, stretch our legs, see the sights, use the toilets, have some food, take photos etc.

Traveler•Written May 2025We are looking for a coach bus tour as we will have gotten off a cruise and will have 2 suitcases and 2 carry ons. The smaller Hiace will not be able to accommodate us. Any suggestions of other tours you have that will accommodate us with the same travel dates.
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written May 2025we have a trailer for the luggage. when you say two suitcases, do you mean a total two per person, so total of four or two in total? if you have one suitcase and I carry on per person that shouldn't be an issue.

Asked on February 1st, 2025Will the group be doing something together on the 9th? Please let me know when I could schedule my clients flight out of Bisbane on the 9th.
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2025On 9 Nov we will travel back from Rainbow Beach to Brisbane. Your tour finishes at The Point Hotel on Day 8 (no accommodation included). We will be at the hotel by 3.00pm, there are no planned activities after this so you are free to leave when you wish.

Traveler•Written February 2025So for the night of the 8th they have or do not have a room for the evening of the 8th included in price? Then on the morning of the 9th they have transportation from Rainbow Beach to Brisbane and will arrive into Brisbane by 3:00?

Traveler•Written February 2025On Day 8, which is 11/9/25 The group will leave Rainbow Beach and travel to Brisbane and should arrive at The Point Hotel around 3:00 pm. My clients would have to find their way from Point Hotel to airport for flight out late on 11/9 or early flight out on 11/10. Is this correct?
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2025That is correct.

Asked on July 14th, 2024What time does the tour end in Brisbane? We are looking to catch a cruise that afternoon from the Port of Brisbane and are wondering if the timing and location of the tour end would work for this.
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written July 2024Our tour normally arrives into Brisbane in the early afternoon, depending on traffic of course.

Anna
Traveler•Written July 2024The cruise leaves at 430 pm with boarding starting at noon. It seems that it would be quite rushed to make the ship on time.
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written July 2024Operations have confirmed we could make a stop by 2pm but we couldn't guarantee any earlier than that. Via Travel note there is a risk arriving into Brisbane on the day a cruise departs and can not be held responsible for delays beyond our control.

Traveler•Written February 2024What would the tour cost if I paid for a single supplement. Is there an average age of participants, I'll be 65?
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2024The total cost of the tour with a single supplement is AUD $5795 (without is is AUD $4490.00). The average age is usually around 55-70 but we do get younger and older too.
