- Troy· June 1st, 2025This tour provides an excellent opportunity to see and experience Australia’s east coast. It strikes a near perfect balance between the number of places you visit and time spent in location. Our guide, Jason, demonstrated true professionalism and an extraordinary ability to adapt our trip to the desires of the guests. This trip has our highest recommendation.Show more
- Jennifer· May 12th, 2025An excellent tour, well constructed with interesting activities. Great tour guide & driver, Ollie, who suggested varied options for dinners and always made sure we were provisioned for sunsets viewing. There are quite long distances, but breaks every two hours or so made it very comfortable. Highlights were the Pinnacles, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia and snorkelling at Coral Bay. Almost all of our small group of 7 opted for the swim with whale sharks at Ningaloo - truly a bucket list item. The roads are good, and the WA parks infrastructure is excellent. Good value tour with 3-4 star comfortable accomodations (though we wouldn’t have minded paying a bit more for 4 star accom at Ningaloo)Show more
- leslie· March 31st, 2025I had the extreme pleasure to be part of the small boutique tour with Via Travel Australia. Jason, our guide, was a balance of fun, knowledge, great activities and suggestions. It was my first tour in over 10 years and if I had known what an amazing job Jason, Tara, and the rest of the crew at Via does each and every day - well I would have been on a tour with them sooner! Through the recent floods, storms and re-routing…..the team had it covered. We felt safe and taken care of. We had a brilliant group of people; it felt like we were all traveling with friends. I cannot recommend the Via team enough, the hotels, activities, options, meals, ability to turn on a dime, and company were all exceptional.Show more

Asked on February 1st, 2025Will the group be doing something together on the 9th? Please let me know when I could schedule my clients flight out of Bisbane on the 9th.
- Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2025
On 9 Nov we will travel back from Rainbow Beach to Brisbane. Your tour finishes at The Point Hotel on Day 8 (no accommodation included). We will be at the hotel by 3.00pm, there are no planned activities after this so you are free to leave when you wish.

Megan
Traveler•Written February 2025So for the night of the 8th they have or do not have a room for the evening of the 8th included in price? Then on the morning of the 9th they have transportation from Rainbow Beach to Brisbane and will arrive into Brisbane by 3:00?

Megan
Traveler•Written February 2025On Day 8, which is 11/9/25 The group will leave Rainbow Beach and travel to Brisbane and should arrive at The Point Hotel around 3:00 pm. My clients would have to find their way from Point Hotel to airport for flight out late on 11/9 or early flight out on 11/10. Is this correct?
- Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2025
That is correct.

Asked on July 14th, 2024What time does the tour end in Brisbane? We are looking to catch a cruise that afternoon from the Port of Brisbane and are wondering if the timing and location of the tour end would work for this.
- Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written July 2024
Our tour normally arrives into Brisbane in the early afternoon, depending on traffic of course.

Anna
Traveler•Written July 2024The cruise leaves at 430 pm with boarding starting at noon. It seems that it would be quite rushed to make the ship on time.
- Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written July 2024
Operations have confirmed we could make a stop by 2pm but we couldn't guarantee any earlier than that. Via Travel note there is a risk arriving into Brisbane on the day a cruise departs and can not be held responsible for delays beyond our control.

Asked on February 17th, 2024Could I have a private room, rather than sharing a bedroom?
- Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2024
A private room is possible with the single supplement upgrade.
- L
Linda
Traveler•Written February 2024What would the tour cost if I paid for a single supplement. Is there an average age of participants, I'll be 65?
- Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written February 2024
The total cost of the tour with a single supplement is AUD $5795 (without is is AUD $4490.00). The average age is usually around 55-70 but we do get younger and older too.
