Great tour guide & driver, Ollie, who suggested varied options for dinners and always made sure we were provisioned for sunsets viewing. There are quite long distances, but breaks every two hours or so made it very comfortable. Highlights were the Pinnacles, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia and snorkelling at Coral Bay. Almost all of our small group of 7 opted for the swim with whale sharks at Ningaloo - truly a bucket list item. The roads are good, and the WA parks infrastructure is excellent. Good value tour with 3-4 star comfortable accomodations (though we wouldn’t have minded paying a bit more for 4 star accom at Ningaloo)Show more

Jason, our guide, was a balance of fun, knowledge, great activities and suggestions. It was my first tour in over 10 years and if I had known what an amazing job Jason, Tara, and the rest of the crew at Via does each and every day - well I would have been on a tour with them sooner! Through the recent floods, storms and re-routing…..the team had it covered. We felt safe and taken care of. We had a brilliant group of people; it felt like we were all traveling with friends. I cannot recommend the Via team enough, the hotels, activities, options, meals, ability to turn on a dime, and company were all exceptional.Show more

Asked on May 14th, 2025how many people in a group and what type of a bus do we travel in
Via Travel AustraliaOperator•Written May 2025The maximum number is 16 passengers. The bus can vary depending on the group size but it usually a 14 seater Hiace or a 24 seater Rosa. As the distance we cover can be long, we always make sure we have plenty of stops and breaks to get out of the bus, stretch our legs, see the sights, use the toilets, have some food, take photos etc.

Traveler•Written May 2025We are looking for a coach bus tour as we will have gotten off a cruise and will have 2 suitcases and 2 carry ons. The smaller Hiace will not be able to accommodate us. Any suggestions of other tours you have that will accommodate us with the same travel dates.

we have a trailer for the luggage. when you say two suitcases, do you mean a total two per person, so total of four or two in total? if you have one suitcase and I carry on per person that shouldn't be an issue.

On 9 Nov we will travel back from Rainbow Beach to Brisbane. Your tour finishes at The Point Hotel on Day 8 (no accommodation included). We will be at the hotel by 3.00pm, there are no planned activities after this so you are free to leave when you wish.

My clients would have to find their way from Point Hotel to airport for flight out late on 11/9 or early flight out on 11/10. Is this correct?
