Cairo
Start with breakfast, then head out to see the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx up close, learning how these structures have stood for 4,600 years. Afterward, you'll walk through the Egyptian Museum of Cairo to take in over 120,000 ancient pieces and relics before heading back to your hotel.

Cairo to Aswan
You'll fly to Aswan this morning and begin a city tour with your local guide. Check out the Unfinished Obelisk to understand ancient building techniques, then take a boat to Philae Temple on the island, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Get settled at your hotel, and if you're interested, join a traditional Nubian dinner in the evening.

Aswan
An early 4:45 AM departure is available for the optional Abu Simbel trip to this UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, you'll board a traditional felucca sailboat for a 2-night cruise heading south down the Nile. The afternoon gives you time to explore Aswan and the Nile's banks at your own pace.

Nile River Cruise
Spend your day sailing down the Nile surrounded by beautiful scenery and watching local fishermen work. You can swim in the river, play volleyball with local kids, and enjoy a meal on the riverbanks as the sun sets with a cold drink in hand.

Edfu - Luxor
You'll leave the felucca and board a coach heading toward Kom Ombo, stopping to see the temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Continue to Edfu for one of Egypt's largest and best-preserved temples, dedicated to Horus. Arriving in Luxor by late afternoon, you'll visit Luxor Temple that evening and explore the Karnak Temple Complex with an Egyptologist guide.

Luxor to Cairo
Begin early with an optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor if you want to see the landscape from above. You'll also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon before heading to the airport for your evening flight back to Cairo.

Dahab
Start your Dahab experience with an optional snorkeling trip to the famous Blue Hole, where you can snorkel from shore and swim with colorful fish among coral reefs. Dahab to Mt. Sinai
You have a free day by the sea with optional water sports available if you feel like staying active. Enjoy your last full day along the Red Sea under the Egyptian sun. At 10:30 PM, you'll depart for St. Catherine and begin your climb up Mt. Sinai to catch the sunrise that turns the surrounding peaks gold.

Mt. Sinai to Dahab
