We had an enjoyable time with Serene Himalaya. They were helpful and welcome from when we first inquired about the trek, to return, and starting to Base Camp. All the way to when we were dropped off at the airport to back home. With Serene Himalaya we had a remarkable trip to Base Camp. Before and after the trek Sujan met with us to ask us how our trip made. We really enjoyed because Serene Himalaya cared about our time in Nepal. Highly endorse them if you are going on any experience in Nepal.

Thank serene himalaya for making my trip good enough. Our guide was friendly and good in English. The travel agency was pro-active enough, sujan was able to respond quickly, usually within an hour during business hours. Accommodation was generally so-so, but its good even not comfort such a luxurius accomodation, but its okay since it remote area. everything was fine, and personally I recommend this tour.

Is there any hiking/trekking included in this tour?

    Tour Details
    • Female Guide HolidayOperatorWritten January 2024

This is a road trip, so there won't be any adventurous trekking or hiking involved. However, you will have a short hiking trip to EBC from the Tibet side, but the altitude won't be too high.

    Asked on September 1st, 2023

I am interested in the tour 10 Days -Lhasa to Kathmandu Tour via Everest Base Camp. I have a few questions: - I notice the site shows departures on every day in October. Are there any constraints on which day the tour can start? I can only start on-or-after 23rd October. - I notice the tour operator is called Female Guide Holiday. Is the tour only for females - I am male. - If I take this tour I would be coming from Singapore. Any suggestions on how best to arrive in Lhasa from Singapore?

    Transport
    • Female Guide HolidayOperatorWritten September 2023

The group departs every Saturday starting from April 2023. Our company, Female Guide Holiday, aims to promote female guides internationally. However, for Tibet tours, a Tibetan male guide will lead your adventure, regardless of whether the travelers are male or female. Currently, flights to Lhasa are not available from Kathmandu. Therefore, the trip must be done by vehicle both ways. Therefore, if you are coming from Singapore, you will have to first arrive in Kathmandu. Additionally, we require your original passport, which needs to be submitted to the Chinese Embassy for permits. The process takes approximately four business days.

      TravelerWritten September 2023

I would like to take a trip that maximizes my time in the Himalayas over a 2-week period, seeing Tibet, Lhasa, EBC, Katmandu, and possibly Bhutan, with some time for trekking (not all stuck in a tour bus). But timing is my biggest constraint. I must be in Singapore for an event on the morning of Saturday October 21st, so the earliest I can fly out of Singapore is around 6pm on Saturday October 21st. And I must be back in Singapore for another event no later than around 2pm on Saturday November 4. What would you suggest as the best tour option for me?

    • Female Guide HolidayOperatorWritten September 2023

Based on the dates of your vacation, I recommend the 12-day Bhumthang Cultural Tour or the 12-day Trek to Everest Base Camp with a helicopter return. Since you mentioned an interest in trekking in the Himalayas, both options are available on this website, and you can book either after reviewing the details.

I am considering the 10-day Lhasa to Kathmandu tour in December 2023 / January 2024. Please provide a price for a solo traveler without sharing a hotel room during the trip.

      TravelerWritten June 2023

What is the price for a single (solo) traveler without sharing a hotel room? Your stated price for the trip is $1,899 per traveler but you go on to say that, "Solo adult travellers are matched with a fellow guest of the same gender." I do not want to be matched with someone of the same sex. Therefore, what will it cost to have hotel/guesthouse all to myself?

    • Female Guide HolidayOperatorWritten June 2023

The accommodation would be on twin sharing basis as per our itineraries. However, if you would like to use a single room, the extra charges would be applicable as USD 300.
