Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia early in the day, the southernmost city in the world. After arriving, board the Scenic Eclipse yacht and begin your departure from South America. Landmarks Drake Passage - Day 4
Antarctica
You'll head into Antarctic waters for your first look at the continent's landscape. After getting your complimentary polar parka, make your way to the Observation Deck where you can spot icebergs and watch for whale blows in the distance. Throughout the day, the Polar Discovery Team (geologists, historians, ornithologists, marine biologists, and glaciologists) will be around to explain what you're seeing and answer questions about the region.

Antarctica
From your verandah suite, you'll have views of icebergs and glacial mountains. Antarctica is excellent for birdwatching with over 40 species around, including wandering albatrosses, shearwaters, and giant petrels. Your captain and the Polar Discovery Team plan the day's route based on ice and weather conditions, so the itinerary shifts daily. With 18 to 20 hours of daylight, you'll have plenty of time to see what's out there.
