- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your hotel pickup happens early this morning, then you'll drive to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint before heading down the escarpment through Narok town to reach Masai Mara. After lunch at camp, the afternoon game drive is your chance to spot the black-maned lions and see the wildebeest migrations between Serengeti and Masai Mara.

Masai Mara
Start with an early breakfast, then spend your full day doing game viewing throughout Masai Mara. A picnic lunch gets served at the Mara River border between Kenya and Tanzania. You'll return to camp by evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you'll leave Masai Mara and drive through the Rift Valley to reach Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake where flamingo populations cover the water. The park lets you spot large game including zebras, elephants, gazelles, and possibly both white and black rhinos along with Rothschild's giraffes.

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
An early breakfast comes first, then a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known as the pink lake from all the flamingos on its surface. You'll have good chances to see black and white rhinos and other big five members. After lunch in the park, a 3-hour drive takes you to Nairobi for dinner and overnight.

Nairobi to Lake Manyara (Tanzania)
An early pickup from your Nairobi hotel gets you to Arusha with a stop at the Namanga border for immigration, arriving around 9:00 am. From there, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive where you might spot tree-climbing lions, leopards, black rhinos, buffalo, elephants, and various birds including lesser flamingos.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara and head to Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in the afternoon. You'll descend 2,000 feet onto the crater floor for a full afternoon game drive with lunch at Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. Spot black-maned lions, rhinos, buffalo, and elephants before heading back up to the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti
You'll have both morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at your lodge mid-afternoon. Explore the endless plains where leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs roam, and watch for various bird species like eagles and flamingos. Depending on season, you might see the wildebeest and zebra migrations.

Serengeti to Tarangire

Tarangire to Arusha

Arusha to Machame Base Camp
An early pickup from your Arusha hotel takes you to Kilimanjaro National Park. At the Machame Park Gate, your trek begins directly to Machame Hut campsite, a roughly 6-hour hike ending at 3,100m elevation where you'll rest, eat meals, and sleep in tents.

- Day 12
Machame Hut to Shira Hut
After breakfast, hike to Shira Hut in approximately 4 hours through rainforest, past valleys and steep rocky ridges, ending at a river gorge heading westward. You'll rest, have dinner, and overnight at Shira Hut campsite at 3,658m elevation.

Landmarks Mount Kilimanjaro - Day 13
Shira Hut to Barranco Hut
From Shira, hike to Barranco Hut in roughly 6 hours, bypassing the lava tower and passing the second junction near Arrow Glacier at 4,876m before descending to Barranco Hut at 3,860m. This is your third overnight on Kilimanjaro.

Barranco Hut to Barafu Hut
After breakfast, leave Barranco and continue to Karanga Valley, then hike to Barafu Hut in approximately 8 hours. You'll have dinner and overnight at 4,600m altitude, where you might see both Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks.

Barafu Hut to Summit Uhuru Peak
Rise early and head for Stella Point at 5,745m on your way to Uhuru Peak summit at 5,896m, an approximately 6-hour ascent. After reaching the summit, you'll descend to Mweka Hut campsite at 3,100m in roughly 5 hours, then have dinner and overnight.
