Nairobi
You'll arrive in Nairobi and get transferred to your hotel. If your flight comes in early, there's time to walk around the hotel grounds, take a swim, or try out any activities they offer. The team will also give you a briefing about the 15-day safari that's coming up.

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Early departure at 7:00 am heads to Samburu National Reserve. You'll descend from 2,500m down to around 1,000m, and the landscape shifts dramatically from lush vegetation to semi-arid terrain. After arriving in time for lunch, an afternoon game drive lets you spot wildlife unique to this North Frontier District.

Samburu National Reserve
An early morning game drive starts at 6:00 am when big cats are most active. You'll return for breakfast around 8:30-9:30 am, then head out on a nature walk to check out the birdlife and lodge area, or relax by the pool. After lunch, another afternoon game drive takes you out until 6:00 pm, leaving the evening free to unwind.

Landmarks/POIs Samburu National Reserve - Day 4
Samburu National Reserve to Aberdares
After breakfast, you'll depart for Aberdares and Solio Game Reserve, a privately-owned wildlife conservancy in Kenya's Rift Valley. This 17,500-acre fenced reserve is one of Kenya's top private rhino breeding areas, home to black rhinos along with buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and plains game.

Aberdares to Lake Nakuru National Park
Around 7:30 am you'll head out toward Lake Nakuru National Park, roughly 190 km away. The drive takes you through Solio ranch and Nyahururu, Kenya's highest town at 2,100m, with a quick stop at Thomson Falls, discovered by Scottish geologist Thomson back in 1861. You'll reach the park for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
At 7:00 am you'll depart toward Masai Mara National Reserve. The route passes by Rift Valley lakes including Lake Elementaita (where you can see flamingos) and Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake at 1,880m. After arriving in Mara for lunch, an afternoon game drive lets you experience this vast savannah.

Masai Mara National Reserve
Following early breakfast, you'll head out with packed lunch for a full day game drive across the vast savannah, looking for the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. Or if you prefer, do an early morning drive, return mid-morning to relax and have lunch, then head back out for the afternoon drive. You'll return to the luxury tented camp for dinner.

Masai Mara National Reserve
After early breakfast, you'll head out with packed lunch for a full day game drive across the vast savannah, watching for the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. Alternatively, take an early morning drive, return mid-morning for rest and lunch, then head out again for the afternoon drive. You'll be back at the luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Early morning drive takes you to the Serengeti, crossing into Tanzania at the Isebania border. After clearing customs, you'll meet your Tanzania driver guide who takes over for the rest of the tour. This is a long drive with a picnic lunch along the way, and game drives happen en-route to the lodge. Like Masai Mara, you can see the Big Five, though Serengeti is Tanzania's largest park and much bigger in scope.

Serengeti National Park
A full day game drive in Serengeti takes you through one of the world's last intact migrations. Roughly 1-1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 500,000 Thomson's gazelles cross the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem each year following seasonal rains and fresh grasslands. The migration timing depends entirely on local weather, so exact locations shift from year to year.

You'll stop at Olduvai Gorge for lunch, then continue into Ngorongoro, arriving at the lodge in the afternoon to relax.

Ngorongoro to Amboseli, Kenya
After early breakfast, you'll depart for Arusha with packed lunch. A brief stop in Arusha is followed by heading to the Tanzania-Kenya border where you'll clear customs on both sides. From there, you'll continue to Amboseli with lunch en-route, and a game drive on the way gets you to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Landmarks/POIs Amboseli National Park - Day 14
Amboseli National Park
A full day in Amboseli includes very early morning and afternoon game drives. This approximately 400 square kilometre park is Africa's best place to get close to free-ranging elephants. You can also meet the Maasai and see Mount Kilimanjaro from here. There's a mid-morning break for relaxation when the sun is hot and animals retreat. An optional Maasai village visit is available at extra cost. After lunch, a 4:00 pm game drive takes you back to the lodge for dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Mount Kilimanjaro Amboseli National Park - Day 15
Amboseli to Nairobi
Following breakfast, you'll do a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for lunch and checkout. Make sure you have all your belongings before heading straight to Nairobi, arriving in the evening. The driver will drop you at the airport on the way. This marks the end of your 15-day Kenya and Tanzania safari in East Africa.
