Itinerary
- Day 1
Johannesburg to Hazyview
After picking you up from OR Tambo International Airport or the shuttle terminal in Johannesburg, it's about a 5-hour drive to the lodge in Hazyview. You'll have time to settle in, grab a light lunch, and relax or walk around the grounds if you'd like. Later in the afternoon, head out for a sunset and night safari through Kruger National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner.

- Day 2
Kruger National Park
This is a full day safari in an open vehicle starting before sunrise, which is when you'll have the best chances at spotting the Big 5 and other plains game. Your guide takes you through different eco zones with a breakfast break around the 3-hour mark. You'll pass rivers, watering holes, and bushveld areas before stopping for lunch at a rest stop (you'll pay separately for this). The drive back to the lodge takes you arriving around 15:30 to 16:00, giving you time to swim or relax before dinner.

- Day 3
Panorama Route
Start with hot breakfast at 7:30, then travel in a closed air-conditioned vehicle for 45 minutes to reach the Panorama Route. You'll climb nearly 1000 metres through the Northern Drakensburg Mountains, checking out God's Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon (the world's third largest), Lisbon Falls, and the Three Rondavels. Comfortable walking shoes are a good idea for the hikes. The town of Graskop is where you'll stop for lunch and shopping, and it's known for its pancakes. You're back at the lodge around 16:00 for refreshments and dinner.

Kruger National Park
Before sunrise you're out on another safari, this time focusing on different areas and animals you might have missed on earlier drives. Your guide will use the park's extensive road network to increase the chances of spotting something new. By 11:00 you're back at the lodge with the rest of your day free. Swimming, walking around the grounds, or just relaxing are all options. Light lunch and dinner are both served at the lodge.

Hazyview to Johannesburg
Your last morning starts before sunrise with another safari, where the guide hopes to find lions and leopards that tend to be more active early. After a quick breakfast and coffee break, the safari continues before returning to the lodge around 11:00. You'll say goodbye to your guide, freshen up, and get ready for the drive back. The shuttle picks you up around 11:30 and arrives at the Johannesburg OR Tambo shuttle terminal and lodges between 17:00 and 18:00.
