Itinerary
- Day 1
Scenic Eastern South Africa to Blyde River Canyon
You'll drive through the scenic areas of Eastern South Africa, making stops along the way. First up is Pinnacle Rock, followed by God's Window where you get views across the region. After that, head to Berlin Falls to check out the local arts and crafts on sale there. From there, walk through Bourke's Luck Potholes before continuing on to Blyde River Canyon. The day wraps up when you reach your chalet resort for the night.

Blyde Dam to Kruger National Park
Start the day with breakfast, then head out on a boat trip across Blyde Dam with an interpretation tour. You'll see Kadishi Tufa waterfall and the Three Rondawels while learning about the natural history and wildlife in the area. Later, drive through the Orpen gate into Kruger National Park and settle into Satara Rest Camp. In the late afternoon, you'll head out on a 3-hour sunset game drive in an open vehicle, watching for nocturnal species as darkness falls. Dinner happens at the restaurant back at camp.

Kruger National Park Game Drives
After your morning coffee, get into your own vehicle and start exploring scenic routes throughout Kruger Park early. You have solid chances of spotting the Big 5 along with lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and antelopes. Later, drive south to explore more of the park and increase your wildlife viewing opportunities. By evening, you'll arrive at Lower Sabie camp, situated on the banks of the Sabie River where you'll spend the night.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
Depending on your flight time, an early morning guided walk might be available. After breakfast at the restaurant, take a final game drive as you make your way out of the park. Then begin the 4 to 5 hour scenic drive back to Johannesburg, heading back toward civilization after your time in the reserve.
