Hanoi
Your driver meets you at Hanoi airport and takes you to your hotel in the Old Quarter. After settling in, you can either walk around the neighborhood or take it easy following your flight. The Old Quarter is right there whenever you're ready to explore.

Hanoi
A guided tour picks you up from your hotel in the morning. You'll start at the Golden Fish Island pagoda, then move through the Ho Chi Minh Complex with his mausoleum and residences. The One Pillar Pagoda comes next before heading to a museum about Vietnam's ethnic groups. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, and afterward you'll see the Temple of Literature (the country's first university) and the historic Hoa Lo Prison before returning to your hotel.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After checking out, a bus takes you through the Red River Delta's rice paddies toward Halong Bay. Once you board the cruise, limestone formations and karst grottoes surround you. Seafood lunch is served onboard, and you'll spend time on the sundeck. The afternoon brings kayaking or swimming around the rock formations, followed by an early dinner and free time to relax or join optional activities.

Landmarks Halong Bay - Day 4
Halong Bay to Hue
Wake early to catch the sunrise and have breakfast in the dining room. You'll visit limestone caves with stalagmites and stalactites, then return to the boat for brunch while sailing back. After transferring to Hanoi, you take a domestic flight to Hue where your driver meets you at the airport and brings you to your hotel.

Hue
Your guide meets you in the morning for a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. From there you visit the Imperial Citadel and Royal Antiques Museum, then walk through Dong Ba Market. After Vietnamese lunch, you'll see Khai Dinh's Tomb and Minh Mang's Tomb, stopping at conical hat and incense stick villages along the way before heading back to your hotel in late afternoon.

Hue to Hoi An
Breakfast at your hotel comes before your private car heads toward Hoi An. The drive crosses Hai Van Pass with mountain and sea views. Once you arrive in Hoi An, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free to wander around the area.

Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh
You have time to explore Hoi An before your driver takes you to Da Nang airport. A domestic flight brings you to Ho Chi Minh City where your driver picks you up and transfers you to your hotel downtown. The evening is free for whatever you'd like to do.

Mekong Delta
After breakfast, you travel to the Mekong Delta where your guide meets you and takes you to My Tho. A sampan cruise visits four islands (Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise). At Unicorn Island you walk country lanes and see orchards, then stop at fruit plantations to taste tropical fruits and hear folk music. A hand-rowed sampan takes you through Thoi Son canal to visit family workshops and honey farms for tea and candy tastings. Traditional lunch is followed by cycling around Tan Thach village to meet locals or relaxing in a hammock before returning to Ho Chi Minh in the evening.

The War Remnants Museum comes next with its Indochina wars displays. After lunch, a bus takes you about 1.5 hours to Cu Chi Tunnel. You'll get an introduction to tunnel construction, then explore the tunnel systems including living areas, kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. You'll learn about hidden traps and try special tea and cassava before returning to your hotel.
