- VBValerie· July 12th, 2022Enchanting Danube was a wonderful trip and I highly recommend Uniworld! When they say all inclusive, that is what they mean. All of the excursions were fantastic and it was hard to choose what to do. We were also given extra time in several cities to explore and/or revisit places we wanted to see. The ship was very luxurious. I upgraded from a classic room to a French Balcony which had a bigger window that opened all the way. It was nice to have a better view. The staff was attentive and personable. The hotel manager greeted everyone by their name by the second morning. The room was well appointed and most importantly the bed was super comfortable. We added a Progressive dinner where we got to see different parts of the ship and talk with the staff that works there while enjoying wine and different parts of our meal. That was a fantastic experience. The transfers were easy and efficient. All in all a wonderful trip that I would highly recommend!Show moreTrip date: June 2022

Tours: various excursions to choose from for different age group and they were well-organized. Ship: beautiful boutique-design ship. The only cons is a slow Wifi connection but it ain't a big deal. There were so many onboard activity that kept us entertaining. I noticed that the cruise operates in eco-friendly manner, i.e. they eliminates sing-use plastic. That's a big plus!!!!Show more

That can't be helped but they did not advise us until it was a fait accompli and it was too late to change other arrangements. We don't recommend you join in Vienna as you'll only enjoy and use half of the services, but will need to pay the full fare still. Uniworld offers all-inclusive cruises so I would recommend looking at other itineraries starting in Vienna in October so you can fully enjoy them.

Unfortunately we don't have any dates where the single supplement fee is waived, but we have a Pay in Full promotion where certain departures get up to $2000 off per person from their cruise fare. Here are the pricing for all departures available in September and October based on single occupancy: Enchanting Danube (2024) September 15th - Passau to Budapest: Classic cabin (162 sq ft - 15 sq m) with porthole windows TOTAL: $9,899 CAD. September 22nd - Budapest to Passau: Classic cabin (162 sq ft - 15 sq m) with porthole windows TOTAL: $9,899 CAD. October 13th - Passau to Budapest: Classic cabin (162 sq ft - 15 sq m) with porthole windows TOTAL: $7,599 CAD and this includes a discount of $1,500. October 27th - Passau to Budapest: French Balcony (194 sq ft - 18 sq m) TOTAL: $8,699 CAD.
