James· November 25th, 2022We managed this tour, but can honestly say that it was not an enjoyable experience. A number of our fellow travellers were not very nice (one group of Floridians felt they were above the rest of the group and refused to mingle - refusing to move around on the bus in order to get to know one another; another individual from the U.S. threw a temper tantrum while waiting to go up the Tour Eiffel, throwing his audio guide onto the pavement and accusing the Canadians who stood in shock at this behaviour, as being a "bunch of sheep" for presumably putting up with Trafalgar's nonsense ( the day was blistering hot and our guide offered us a bottle of water, and told us that we could pay her later.). Too many major sites are simple walk-bys (Louvre, Basilica, etc). It was gross. We will never use Trafalgar again.Show more

The meal in Monaco which purported to be a regional specialty can only be,described as a disgrace, a view shared by many of our fellow passengers. To all appearances Trafalgar is cost cutting. You purport to offer a premium tour which in fact you do not. Your business model is not working. You need to either go up market or down market. I loved the variety of interesting things to see and explore from art, shopping, historical castles and cathederals to cafes and French Restaurants. Great trip and great people! The optional extra winery tour was a disappointment as only two very young wines made available for tasting and the lunch afterwards at Amelia Canta was of a very low quality. However, the included Be My Guest and Farewell Dinner were of a high quality. The driver's driving expertise was exceptional and the Tour Guide kept everything running efficiently. The accommodation was good value for money. Being on a tour enables expedited entry to sites which is a bonus as the queue at Versailles was ridiculous. The highlights for me were definitely Monet's Garden and the Omaha Beach Memorial. Both truly memorable.Show more

Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (Upper Basilica): A grand basilica built to honor the apparitions. Basilica of the Rosary (Lower Basilica): Another major basilica within the sanctuary. Basilica of St. Pius X (Underground Basilica): A large underground basilica that can accommodate a large number of people.
