- Day 1
Nuremberg
You'll arrive at Nuremberg Airport and get transferred to your ship. If you've booked a group transfer or arranged a private one through your cruise package, transportation is all handled for you. Head straight to the ship and get settled in for your Danube River adventure.
- Day 2
Regensburg
Spend time exploring Regensburg, Bavaria's first capital and a UNESCO-recognized Free Imperial City. The medieval architecture here is really well preserved, and you'll find it sitting right alongside a lively modern city center. Your included excursion takes you to the Regensburg Cathedral Choir. After that, you can pick one optional excursion to dig deeper into what interests you most about the city.

Schlögener Schlinge
The ship cruises through the Schlögen Loop, a famous hairpin bend in the Danube that was historically difficult for river traffic but is now peaceful to travel through. It's one of the river's real highlights. You'll do an included scenic river biking excursion, or if you prefer, there's an optional culinary tour of Salzburg available instead.

Landmarks/POIs Schlögener Schlinge - Day 5
Wachau Valley
The ship docks at Emmersdorf, and from there you can head to the charming town of Spitz. Later on, cruise through the Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Landscape that the Danube carved through the Bohemian Mountains. You'll get 19 miles of spectacular river scenery. Pick one optional excursion to explore the region, or book a private Mozart and Strauss concert instead.

Vienna
Explore Vienna, the major city on the Danube and former center of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. You'll see splendid architecture, impressive art collections, and can stop at inviting cafés. A city tour covers the Austrian capital's architectural highlights and the Belvedere Palace. Then choose between two optional excursions if you want to see more of what interests you.

Departure
Your river cruise journey wraps up today. Disembark from the ship and head to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport for your flight home. If your package includes a group departure transfer or you've arranged a private one, you'll be transported to the airport.
