Itinerary
- Day 1
Calgary
You'll arrive in Calgary and head to the Dorian, Autograph Collection for check-in. After settling in, there's a welcome briefing where you'll meet your Tour Director and other travelers. This gives you a chance to get oriented and learn what's coming up over the next week.

- Day 2
Calgary to Banff
The drive from Calgary to Banff takes you through Alberta's Rocky Mountain foothills. Along the way, you'll stop at a local farm for a special Farm to Fork welcome lunch prepared by the chef there, featuring fresh produce from the region. It's a nice introduction to the area's food scene.

Landmarks/POIs Banff National Park - Day 3
Banff
In Banff National Park, you get to pick your own adventure. Choose from helicopter flightseeing over Three Sisters Peaks, a float trip down the Bow River, time at Willow Stream Spa, the Banff Gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain, or snowshoeing if it's early season. That evening, you'll have dinner at one of the local restaurants.

- Day 4
Lake Louise
You'll travel to Lake Louise, known as the 'Diamond in the Wilderness,' and stay at the Fairmont Château Lake Louise right beside the turquoise water. There's a chance to meet a retired RCMP member who'll share information about the Mounties. For dinner, pick from several well-known restaurants with views across the lake.

Lake Louise to Jasper
The Icefields Parkway is considered one of the world's most scenic drives, and you'll travel it today. You'll pass towering peaks, old glaciers, turquoise lakes, and waterfalls. At Columbia Icefield, you'll board an Ice Explorer and ride onto the Athabasca Glacier. After that, you'll continue to Jasper for a two-night stay.

Jasper
In Jasper National Park, there are several activities to choose from: ride the Jasper Skytram for aerial views, take a 90-minute cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, try white-water rafting on the Athabasca River, or tour Maligne Canyon and the lakes. Later in the day, there's a guided wildlife tour where you might spot elk, deer, black bears, moose, and mountain goats.

Jasper to Kamloops
You'll board the legendary Rocky Mountaineer train with GoldLeaf Service and travel through a glass-dome carriage. The route takes you through mountain passes and dramatic canyons as you head toward Kamloops. You'll arrive this evening and stay overnight there.

- Day 8
Kamloops to Vancouver
The train continues in your glass-dome carriage, and you'll see where the Fraser and Thompson rivers meet. There's lunch included with local wine or beer pairings while you take in the scenery. Later this afternoon, you'll arrive in Vancouver and check into the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

Vancouver
Early in the morning, you'll get exclusive access to walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge high above the forest. After that, there's a city sightseeing tour of Vancouver, then lunch before boarding the ms Koningsdam. Your Verandah Stateroom offers chances to watch for humpback whales and bald eagles as you head north.

Cruising to Alaska
Today is a relaxation day at sea as the ship cruises northward. You can read, nap in your cabin, or walk around checking out the restaurants and lounges. There's no set itinerary, so it's up to you how you spend the time.
- Day 11
Juneau, Alaska
You'll arrive in Juneau, Alaska's capital, which is only accessible by air or sea. The city has a lot of history from the gold rush period and from the indigenous Tlingit people. You can walk around, see glaciers in the distance, and check out the local arts scene.

Skagway, Alaska
Skagway is a window into the Klondike Gold Rush era with old shop fronts and wooden boardwalks still standing. Walking through town, you'll see preserved buildings and get a feel for what things were like during the gold rush days when people came here seeking fortune.

Glacier Bay, Alaska
Glacier Bay is the highlight here with dramatic ice walls and massive glaciers. You can grab hot chocolate while taking in the frozen landscape. The quiet and scale of the glaciers make this one of Alaska's most impressive natural spots, and it's something you won't forget.

Ketchikan, Alaska
Ketchikan is your last stop in Alaska, famous as the salmon capital of the world. The town has strong Native heritage and is a busy fishing community. You can try local seafood and explore the culture and atmosphere that make the place unique.

Cruising to Vancouver
On your final day at sea, the ship sails back to Vancouver heading south. It's a good time to relax, reflect on everything you've seen in Alaska, and enjoy your last evening aboard with the people you've met on the cruise.

Vancouver
Your trip ends in Vancouver. The city sits between mountains and the ocean, offering a mix of urban energy and outdoor options. You'll say goodbye to your travel companions and head home with memories from the Rockies, the Rocky Mountaineer, and Alaska.
