Kirra ToursOperator•Written September 2025Yes, it would be possible to join the tour from Taupo on Day 4 if you are unable to join from Auckland. We will be staying overnight in Taupo on Monday 9th February 2026, and leaving early morning on the 10th to continue on the tour itinerary.

Traveler•Written September 2025What would the cost be If I am not participating in the first 3 days? I am a senior and would like to know wha the additional cost for insurance is in the event I need to cancel? How many people would be on this tour? Would I book online or by telephone with you?

We would not be able to discount the tour based on not using the first 3 days, as it is in our busiest time of year for our tours. You would be absolutely welcome to not use them, but we would still have to hold that space so that you can join from Taupo. We don't organise travel insurance with the tour so you would need to organise this with a travel insurance company. At that time of year, its very likely we would have a full tour of 24 people. 24 is our maximum group size. If you would like to book via Tour Radar, you can do so on this website. If you need any assistance with the booking program, the Tour Radar team can definitely help out also!
