Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakesh to Agdez
After breakfast, you'll head into the High Atlas mountains, making stops at the N'tizi Tichka pass which sits at 2260m. From there, you'll visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou with its impressive 17th-century medina, then continue on to Ouarzazate, which is known as a major film production hub in the region. The journey takes you through the Anti-Atlas mountains afterward, and you'll arrive at your riad in Agdez by evening.

Agdez to Erg Chegaga
You'll journey through the Zagora province after breakfast, visiting Tamegrout which is famous for its pottery work. Next, you'll reach the village of Mhamid, which serves as the gateway to the Sahara, and stop at a sacred oasis along the way. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at camp in Erg Chegaga where you can take a camel ride as the sun sets. Later that evening, you'll return to camp for a campfire with traditional music and spend time stargazing.

You'll wake early to watch the sunrise from the sand dunes, then journey through the Iriqui dry lake and the village of Foum Zguid. From there, you'll head to Taznaght, a place known for Berber carpet weaving. The route back takes you through the High Atlas mountains again, and you'll arrive in Marrakesh by late afternoon.
