- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll touch down in Hanoi and meet your guide and driver at the airport for the transfer into the city center. After checking into your hotel, you can settle in and get oriented. If you're not too tired from traveling, there are optional activities like catching a water puppet show or taking a cyclo ride through the streets to experience the local energy.

Hanoi City Sightseeing
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll spend the day walking through Hanoi's key landmarks. The morning takes you to One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, then over to Hoan Kiem Lake where you'll see the Tortoise Pagoda. You'll grab lunch at a local spot before continuing to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Opera House, and St. Joseph Cathedral. The History Museum rounds out the afternoon. If you want something in the evening, there's a water puppet show or cyclo tour of the Old Quarter available.

- Day 3
Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll drive from Hanoi heading toward Halong Bay, where you board a traditional Vietnamese boat for a day and a half on the water. The bay's limestone karsts rise dramatically from the water, creating an otherworldly landscape. You'll have time to swim and explore caves, then settle in for the night in your air-conditioned cabin aboard the boat. Dinner gets served on board, and you'll wake up the next morning to breakfast with those rocky islands surrounding you.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Hue
Start your morning with an early swim as the bay wakes up, then head to the upper deck for breakfast while taking in the rocky islands. After exploring Sung Sot Cave, you'll cruise back to the jetty with brunch served during the journey. Once you disembark, you'll drive to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Hue City. You'll arrive and transfer to your hotel to check in and rest.

Hue Imperial City
You'll spend the day exploring Hue, Vietnam's former political capital. The Imperial City within the Citadel is your main focus, modeled after Beijing's Forbidden City. You'll walk through Thai Hoa Palace with its ornate roof supported by 80 carved columns, check out the Halls of the Mandarins, see the Nine Dynastic Urns, and learn about the mysterious Forbidden Purple City that once stood here.

Hue to Hoi An
You'll head south from Hue over the scenic Hai Van Pass with mountain views as you cross the Truong Son range. In Danang, you'll stop at the Cham Museum to see sandstone carvings, then head to My Khe Beach. The Marble Mountains come next, five stone hills representing the five elements with Buddhist sanctuaries tucked into caves. After that, you'll transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town for check-in.

- Day 7
Hoi An Ancient Town and Thu Bon River
This full day focuses on Hoi An, the historic trading port. You'll see temples with gilded statues and pagodas dedicated to sailors and fishermen, plus a 1700s chapel showing Chinese and Japanese influences. The Sa Huynh Museum sits near the Japanese Covered Bridge. Later you'll take a boat on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island to watch local wood workers and shipbuilders at work. You'll finish at Cua Dai Beach for a quiet evening.

Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
You'll fly to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest and most dynamic metropolis. The energy here blends 300 years of tradition with modern vibrancy, street markets, sidewalk cafes, and contemporary bars. You'll check out the French colonial architecture like Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and City Hall. The War Remnants Museum gives insight into Vietnam's history through weapons and photographs.

- Day 9
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
After breakfast, you'll travel southeast to My Tho, about 75 kilometers away on the Mekong River. This agricultural area surrounds you with orchards and rice fields. You'll visit one or two islands where traditional crafts, coconut candy, and bee farms operate. By boat, you'll reach Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest in the delta. Then it's back to Ho Chi Minh City to check into your hotel.

- Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap and Angkor Thom
After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, arriving around noon. Your guide meets you for the transfer into the city. You'll then explore Angkor Thom, a fortified city covering 10 square kilometers with walls and moats protecting it. You'll enter through the South Gate with its demon and god statues, then see the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper Kings with their dramatic carvings. The day ends at Bayon Temple with its famous stone faces.

Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm
You'll start after breakfast with Angkor Wat, Cambodia's national symbol and the crown jewel of Khmer architecture. You'll cross the moat and walk along the causeway lined with Naga serpents, then climb through galleries to the central sanctuary. The stone carvings cover nearly every surface, with about 1,700 celestial Apsaras dancers adorning the walls. The outer gallery holds the longest continuous bas-relief ever made, telling Hindu mythology stories. You'll finish at Ta Prohm, where jungle still clings to the ruins.
