Departure
This is where it all starts. You'll head to the airport and board your flight to South Africa, so settle in for the journey ahead.
- Day 2
Cape Town
Landing in Cape Town, you'll get to your accommodation and then head straight to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The area's got street performers, shops, and cafés all set against Table Mountain in the background. If you want, there's the Cape Wheel for views from above or the Castle of Good Hope if history interests you.

Cape Town
Start by walking through Cape Town's downtown area, checking out Long Street and the boutiques along it. After that, visit the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel, known as the Pink Lady. From there, you can take the optional gondola up Table Mountain for 360-degree views, then wrap up at either Camps Bay Beach or Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Cape Town
Today focuses on Woodstock, the hipster district with its hip cafés, unique restaurants, boutiques and vibrant street art in converted warehouses. Later in the afternoon, head to Signal Hill to catch the sunset with views of Table Mountain, Robben Island, Bo Kaap and the Waterfront.

Cape Town to Waterberg
Your final morning in Cape Town before flying to Johannesburg. Once you land, pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to Waterberg. By evening, you'll be settling into your glamping tent surrounded by trees and grasslands with pool views.

Waterberg
Wake to nature sounds and spot ostriches from your veranda. After breakfast on your veranda, choose what appeals to you: horseback riding to see giraffes and zebras, game drives through Belleview Reserve, astronomy shows, or nature hikes through the area.

Waterberg to Hoedspruit
Take one last swim in the pool, then start driving toward your next glamping spot near Kruger National Park. Along the way, stop to photograph forests, grasslands and rock formations. By the time you arrive, you'll be surrounded by zebras, kudus and waterbucks.

Hoedspruit / Kruger National Park
You have two options today: self-drive through Kruger National Park to look for the Big Five, or explore the Panorama Route with its dramatic landscapes, wild trails, peaks and rushing waterfalls instead.

Hoedspruit / Kruger National Park
Another chance for optional photo hunts in Kruger to capture Big Five wildlife. Later, relax in your hot tub watching the sunset over the landscape, then enjoy dinner under the stars around the campfire with wildlife moving around nearby.

Panorama Route
Drive the Panorama Route to see green mountain landscapes, waterfalls and rock formations. You'll visit World's End Lookout and Three Rondavels at Blyde River Canyon, explore Bourke's Potholes, view Lisbon Falls and God's Window.

Hoedspruit to Johannesburg
It's a long drive from Hoedspruit back to Johannesburg as the landscape shifts around you. Once you arrive, wander through Nelson Mandela Square with its restaurants, check out Neighbourgoods Market if it's the weekend, explore Maboneng with street art and jazz clubs, and hit up a rooftop bar for a sundowner.
