Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Leave Arusha after lunch and head toward Lake Manyara National Park. This is your first chance to see wildlife up close. The park's got this mix of environments that makes it special, with thick forests fed by underground water, flat open areas, and then the soda lake itself. You'll likely see baboons, blue monkeys, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, and hippos during your game drive. The park's known for having lions that climb trees, though spotting them takes some luck. Bird watchers will appreciate the over 350 species here, with flamingos, pelicans, and storks being particularly common. Wrap up the day with dinner back at your lodge.
