- Day 1
Passau
You'll arrive in Passau, where the old-town squares and university buildings give the city a really nice blend of historic and contemporary feel. Board the A-ROSA FLORA and get settled into your cabin, then the ship pushes off at 16:00. This gives you a few hours to explore Passau's cobblestone streets before heading back to the ship for dinner and your first night on the water.

Check out the imperial palaces, pop into one of the world-class museums, or catch a performance at the state opera house if something's on. Vienna's got this distinctive character that really comes through when you're walking the streets.

Melk
Early morning arrival at 07:00 in Durnstein means you'll have several hours to walk around this medieval town with its castle ruins overlooking everything. The wine terraces and old architecture make it worth a slow morning stroll. By midday at 12:00 the ship departs, and then you're headed to Melk where you can visit the Benedictine monastery. It sits dramatically on a hillside above the valley, and it's UNESCO-listed, so the architecture and views are really something.

Linz
You're in Linz by 07:00, landing in a city that's quite different from the smaller river towns. It's modern and cosmopolitan with a strong cultural scene and design focus. Walk through the museums and galleries, grab lunch at a cafe and try the famous Linzer Torte if you haven't had it before. The ship stays put until 19:30 departure, so you'll have a full day and into the early evening to get a feel for how the city moves.
