Itinerary
- Day 1
Miami
You'll arrive at Miami International Airport and catch the hotel's free shuttle (runs every 30 minutes) to your accommodation. After checking in, there's an information meeting later in the evening where you'll meet your tour guide and the other travelers to get oriented before the trip officially starts.
- Day 2
Miami to Orlando
An air-conditioned coach takes you from Miami to Orlando, covering about 436 km. There's an optional stop at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral if you want to see NASA's facilities, check out the space travel exhibits, and catch an IMAX film. Once you reach Orlando later in the day, you'll have time to wander around the city and hit up some of the shopping areas.

St. Augustine
You'll head out on a day trip to St. Augustine, which happens to be the oldest European-founded city in the USA from 1565. Walk through the colonial streets and stop at Castillo de San Marco, a 17th-century fort right on the waterfront where staff in historical costumes explain what life was like back then. St. Georg Street has tons of old buildings to check out, and you can also see Flagler College and the local lighthouse.

Orlando to Fort Myers
The coach heads to St. Petersburg where you'll walk along the harbor promenade downtown and grab lunch at one of the local restaurants (your own cost). From there, you'll continue to Fort Myers, which sits in a subtropical climate with nice beaches, a charming downtown area, and rows of royal palms everywhere. Your afternoon is free to do what you want, though there's an optional trip to the Edison & Ford Winter Estate if that interests you.

Fort Myers to Florida City
You'll drive through Everglades National Park on the way to Florida City, taking in the scenery of one of the USA's most unique ecosystems. During your propeller boat trip through the wetlands, there's a real chance you'll see American crocodiles, alligators, and over 350 native bird species including manatees. You might even spot giant tiger pythons (invasive snakes from Asia that can grow over 5 meters long). You'll reach Florida City by early afternoon, and there's an optional shopping trip to an outlet mall if you want to browse around.

Key West
You'll drive south on scenic Highway US-1 over a series of bridges to Key West at the southern tip of the USA, with photo stops along the way. Once in Key West, you can explore the town at your own pace and check out the Hemingway House or walk down Duval Street. Depending on how much daylight is left, you might catch a boat trip to see dolphins or go snorkeling. There are optional activities like the Conch Train city tour or a sunset catamaran cruise if those appeal to you.

Miami Beach
You have three days of free time to do whatever you want in Miami Beach. Your hotel, the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, is an iconic Art Deco building that was recently renovated in summer 2018 and feels like 1940s Italian glamour mixed with modern city style. You can reach the beach through the hotel's boardwalk and spend time at either of the two pools (one is adults-only). Explore the art and culture, relax on the beach, or try different restaurants all on your own schedule.

Miami Beach Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel, then sort out your own transfer to the airport or book a separate extended stay with the hotel if you'd rather stick around Miami a bit longer.
