Itinerary
- Day 1
Split to Makarska
You'll arrive in Split and get transferred to your hotel in Makarska, which takes about 1.5 hours. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around and get familiar with the area at your own pace.
Landmarks/POIs Split Airport - Day 2
Gornja Brela Hike
Meet your hiking guide at 9 a.m. dressed and ready to go. A short bus ride takes you to Gornja Brela village, then you'll hike along a mountain path up to the Chapel of St. Nicholas at 570 m elevation. The views across to Brac, Hvar, and Korcula islands are really something. After that, you'll descend through a series of hairpin bends back down to Brela with the sea in sight. The day finishes with a rest stop where you'll try some Croatian specialties.

Vošac to Veliko Brdo Hike
After breakfast, the bus takes you to a suburb outside Makarska. From there you'll hike uphill toward Vošac, the highest peak in the Biokovo mountain range. The descent leads through the village of Veliko Brdo, where lunch with regional dishes is waiting for you.

Omiš Panoramic Hike
Following breakfast, you'll drive along the coast toward Omišand start a panoramic hike. An old shepherd's path leads you to a scenic saddle with views of the Adriatic Sea. You'll pass by the Luda Kuca refuge, then continue hiking steadily upward to Podašpilje where the hike ends for the day.

Biokovo Mountain to Coastal Path Hike
After a short bus ride, your hike takes you between the mountains and the sea. Under the Biokovo mountain range, the path winds above the coastline, running along where terraced fields meet rocky landscape that rises sharply above you.

Biokovo Ridge and Vošac Summit Hike
Today you're hiking along the Biokovo ridge heights. There's an optional stop at the Skywalk, which opened in 2020 and has a glass floor viewing platform. During the hike, you'll come across numerous sinkholes and caves. Watch for wild horses in the area and take in the coastal views. The day peaks at Vošac, 1,421 m elevation, where you get final views of the coast.

This is your quieter final day. You can stroll around the harbor with its cafes, restaurants, and shops to check out. If you want, the beach is there for sunbathing and relaxing.
