Arenal Volcano National Park
A short boat ride across Lake Arenal takes you to Arenal Volcano National Park where you'll hike the La Península trail into tropical jungle with a guide, stopping at viewpoints over the lake. From there, you head to the Sendero Coladas trail to walk through areas that have been regenerating since past volcanic activity, and you'll see where lava flowed years ago. Dinner rounds out your day.
